Leaving on Wednesday... HELP

Hi Everyone!

I am leaving for WDW this Wednesday! We are so excited going down there. My question is when looking at the weather on weather.com it says chance of rain/showers every day while I am down there (22 - 29). I then look at accuweather.com and every day is sunny but one. Which one is more accurate in your opinion?

My first ever MNSSHP on 9/23!!! :goodvibes

I like weatherunderground the best. I don't know where their forecast models come from. But I also used those for hurricane tracking when living in Florida and thought they were the most comprehensive.

Look there and see what they have to say.

It rains every afternoon (plus or minus) in September. It usually only rains for a little while though.

Thanks for the help! I never have gone in September before, I have always gone in February. Glad to see some Halloween decorations!

It looks like both sites are predicting possible afternoon storms. That is pretty normal Florida weather. It may rain for about fifteen or twenty minutes, usually in the afternoon and then it will clear back up. When I lived Florida, we actually sometimes looked forward to the afternoon rain, as it would help cool everything down a bit. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Have a great time!

We are going Thursday, and I have been watching the forecast as well. I know I shouldnt look often but I can say over the past 3 days the forecast for the 23rd-30th has changed probably about 30 times. Dont stress out...bring a poncho and it will only last a short amount of time. I like the forecast that is on there right now, so I am not going to look again!

how funny--- you're on our exact trip! :thumbsup2

We went Labor Day week this month the weather was calling for thunderstorms almost the whole week. It only rained two times and lasted less then an hour. It was sunny and hot and actually the rain felt good lol.:confused3

I have found that the most accurate forecasts I can find when traveling is on the local TV stations. Just search for Orlando News and several of the local news stations will be listed. Go to their weather page and look at the 7 day forecast.
