I loved your pictures of POR...it really makes me miss it more!
That's how I feel when I look at other people's pictures of it too!
I love the pink princess...my DH (who is 16) called her "some chick in pink" but I immediately knew it was Sleeping Beauty! She sounds like a good one!! The first time we met her she had not come out yet but the handler was there. He asked who was from France...I went through several and then Madison said "Sleeping Beauty"! He told her she was correct and I turned to her and said "Wow you are good" and she said "Mom ,she's standing right there!"...Oh well!!
So is it bad that I don't address her as Sleeping Beauty but as Princess Aurora everytime I meet her? I'm coming up with some little extras to throw into my TR of strange and funny things after reporting on my trip. Like the funniest character photos and who I met multiple times, and the funniest pictures I took the whole trip.
Keep posting I love reading your updates.
Alright, well I caught up, and I'm sure I had plenty to say, but that last story was the best thing I've ever heard. I can only imagine the looks on their faces! "A Person". I love it so very much!
Now I will have to go back and see what else you posted, because I completely forgot!
That picture of them with Stitch is GREAT! That is certainly a keeper!
I'm sorry your croissant didn't live up to your expectations. I hate when you have such a great memory of something and then when you do it again it's not nearly as good. Guess you'll have to find a recipe!
Good idea calling it first lunch. First lunch even sounds more appealing to me. Mmm...second lunch and third lunch...that is a good day at Disney!
I can already tell you that once DS hits 40 inches we will "against our better judgment" be taking him on some rides that he won't like. It's so HARD just sitting back and letting them not participate. Because he probably won't like it, but what if he does? Then it would be completely worth it!
Whew, so glad to be caught up!
I'm just getting to the party, but better late than never, right?
I'm on page 2, so I need to go back and catch up.
But just a few comments:
Thank goodness your flight wasn't ridiculously delayed! I can't imagine the panic you must have been feeling waiting to find out what time you were going to get out of there!
Great photos! I love the shot of the Big Thunder Mountain train- you don't see many from that perspective.
I'll take a shot at the towel creation- basket with a colorful case of the measles?
Your DS5 looks a lot like my son Nate did at 5, right down to the mushroom cut and same color of hair. I tried to find a photo of him to post, but it was before I went digital, so I will have to dig. I totally have to show you!
Nate also had some minor sensory issues- loud sounds bothered him, he didn't like unusual textures (finger painting and barefeet in the grass were out), very picky eater (getting better), doesn't ride bike (probably never will) and he has the weirdest pencil grip I have ever seen. He was also pretty tentative about rides. But he has shown a ton of improvement in the past few years.
Finally- the fruit bat comment cracked me up. My boys devour all kinds of fruit, too. I used to call myself the only mother in America who tells her kids "Stop eating fruit!"
Amazing safari photos!!! The giraffe pictures are beautiful!
I look forward to getting back to the story. Hope your school year is going well so far!

Great tour of world showcase! I will have to take my kids to that maze to run off some energy! I have seen it, but I have never been in it.
Those photopass pictures are amazing! Great photopass stop! You could never tell that it was time to leave the park!
The best part about the maze is that there are benches very close, so you can sit and watch them run. We played in there for awhile and were the only family there. I'm just amazed that these quiet spots are always so empty.
The boys frequently grab each other for hugs when they get their pictures taken which makes for very cute photos!
Hope you're having a good weekend and are keeping most of the anxiety at bay! (Not that I was ever able to, but I'm holding out hope for you! )
No more princesses? Boo! I watch way too much Disney stuff. I'm watching the Princess and the Frog right now. When are we going?
I'm trying my best to keep the "bad" thoughts at bay! It's going better some moments than others!
up next: morning EMH at MK -- will we finally get to ride Dumbo with Mama?
I hope so! I thought it was so touching he wanted to do that with you.
I think its good you lightly push for him to do things, otherwise he might end up like me and be too scared to try anything!
