Can someone tell me how to reserve DME? Do I do this online, or do I have to call? I have looked and looked on the disney site and I can't find it. TIA

If your trip is more than 60 days out, then you need to call Disney Reservations or your travel agent and have them add DME to your reservation.

DME does not get and cannot see ANY reservations in their system until 60 days before arrival.

You can also accesss DME reservation requests on line through the Disneyworld website.

I just used the online form for my "group" of three. Had no problems. :thumbsup2

Expect to be getting an email within a week telling you they can't process your reservation and to call DME through the number given above. ;)

Just to follow up, I just got the DME package last week. I didn't call them, but the website did work, as PP said, no problem :thumbsup2

Nice!

Wow, that's a different page from what I was using. I was going to disneyworld.com, clicking on the My Reservations button, signing in, clicking to Retreive Package/Room Reservations, clicking to "Retrieve Your Reservation" (seriously, you have to click through THAT many different things to do this?), and then going to the Ground Transportation area. Alas...it didn't work.

But...we have an extremely split stay, and it was getting all annoyed with me that I didn't have arrangements going to the airport off that reservation...wouldn't let me finish the form.

The guy on the phone said it's b/c my phone number and email address aren't associated with my reservation, but since I booked online and put those things in there that seems unlikely. :)

But I've now bookmarked that link for future trips, just in case the page still exists then, LOL.

I tried using the link once and got an email telling me that I could not use it. Maybe because we were DVC, not sure.

There's actually a page on the DVC site to use when DVC reservations. I used THAT page to make the plans for getting back to the airport! :)

thanks, I'll take a look -- which we all know is not easy on the DVC website.

We took advantage of a great room rate from Travelocity (thanks mousesavers) for CBR in September which also included DME. With the trip about 25 days away I called and asked WDW about the DME info...they refered me to Travelocity (OK, that's fair). The Travelocity rep said they'd send the DME info out about 1 week before the trip. EEK. That sat funny...I'll think I'll call them back today. :3dglasses

I went through the link last night and it worked just fine. My only concern is that it said packages would be mailed out at 45 days prior to reservation date, and we are at 32 days.

Guess I got bad info the first time from Disney....it's not Travelocity....The DME is booked and DISNEY said they'll be mailing it in a couple of days. YAY!
