Ok, so I am wondering how long should I expect between getting off the plane and getting to hotel checking in and then going to the first park? I will do the online check in because I hear it makes a big difference. I am just trying to figure out if I need reservations for lunch or if i would even make the reservations. Our plane comes in around 1130 on Nov 30th if those details are important.

How are you planning to get to the resort from the airport?

I usually figure an hour and a half to: get off plane -> pick up luggage -> pick up car rental -> arrive at hotel.

Checking into the hotel can vary a TON...

If you use Disney's Magical Express, you can average around 70 minutes from when you get off of the plane to when you check in at the resort. Your luggage will magically arrive in your room about 3 hours later.

I would not worry about an ADR for lunch as your plane could be delayed and you could be arriving late.

Our upcoming trip will be our first, so I can't comment on how fast. If I had to guess? I'd say 1.5 hours from deplaning to hotel lobby... that's just figuring that you'll have to wait a few minutes once you get to the bus for whomever else is supposed to be on the bus to arrive. We are planning on 2 hours becuase we are going to luggage claim and picking up our suitcases (dh doesn't trust them to "magically arrive" at our room LOL!)

You will probably be at the resort around 1:00. Then plan on another 30 minutes to get checked in and drop off your carry-ons. I think you'll probably be in the park around 2:30, assuming there are no unforeseen delays.

I wouldn't make a lunch reservation for that day.

Doesnt seem like it is ever going to get here! All I have to do is plan and then second guess myself. It's our first time and I want it to be perfect!

If my husband was involved in the planning he wouldnt trust them "magically" getting there either!
