question re: rental at car care center

We only want a car for 1 day.
Can anybody give me an idea about how long it takes to catch a shuttle at Pop to get to the Car Care Center?
Also, what is the earliest we can get there?

I did a one day rental from POP at enterprise. It is cheaper because they dont have to pay a concession fee. the picked me up at 8 or 815 am. Just call 5 days in advance to reserve a time. They are located near DTD.

We made arrangements through the front desk. they called the rental company Alamo and they gave us time options. We picked 9am. They sent a small bus to the Carribean check-in area that picked us up and took us to the care care center. There was about 4 other people picking up vehicles but it went quick. I had booked online in advance and had already paid. The did try to sell us an upgrade bu we said no and they gave us our Ford Focus keys and we were gone. Probably took less than a half hour. The next day we dropped it off and had a little wait for a shuttle to take us back to our hotel nothing longer than a half hour.

Check at alamo.com. They call it a Landlord Concession Fee recovery at the car care center. The Alamo at the dolphin has a fee too but they call it a Hotel fee concession recovery.

Do you mind if I ask what the cost of renting a car for one day would be? Hubby and I are considering flying down in September and would like a car for one day to visit friends near Tampa and would like to know how much to factor in for cost.
We will be staying at ASMusic.

The best way to estimate would be to look online at the car rental sites for that day since rates vary daily.

You could also call Alamo yourself and they will give you a shuttle pick-up time. Alamo at CCC opens at 6:00AM. The last time I got a car there I asked for the earliest pick up time (at POP) and I think they picked me up in the shuttle at 6:30AM - anyway it was about a half hour after opening. There was only one person in line in front of me so it went very quick. The shuttle ride took about 10 minutes since they didn't have to pick up anyone else.

I got a price of $62.67 for one day for a midsize through Alamo for August 29,2010. I used Visa id for 20% off and free upgrade. This includes the price for the full coverage insurance($23.99). the price for just the rental is $29.58 plus taxes and fees. I used codes from mousesavers.com.

I is actually only going to cost about $25.00 because I am using my discover points for 20 points i get $40.
