I'd love to know what other hidden talents we have in this group. Besides Don's ability to turn TR's in to epic year-long events, I mean.

Well, as a group, we have the ability to make a superhero like identity change.

Let's face it, while we are all mature, responsible men it takes only a split second to get us all acting like 12 year old boys again. Just the simple mention of poop or a fart joke around here goes a long way... and look at the reactions to the bra thread.

Oh...I don't know...I tried to sell a telemarketer some amway products the other night.

I guess there's nothing we can do to help you at this point.


On a side note, I had to call my Dr. yesterday to get results from an X-ray and they have an automated answering system. It actually had instructions to stay on the line and wait for an operator if you're calling from a rotary phone... I could hardly believe it.

I also play the piano. Took lessons for 12 years. Taught my eldest for a year and a half...until I started to pull my hair out and got him another teacher. During Jr High and High School I was in numerous competitions and won several. I liked it when they combined the choir with the drama and we did some musicals (I played Captain Von Trapp the year we did "Sound of Music" and was numerous roles in "Fiddler on the Roof". I also competed in Speech Meets and on the Debate Team.

Even though you don't like football, that's still some cool stuff. I've considered teaching my children to play the piano, but I don't know if I can handle the frustration. I have my old one sitting in the house (Baldwin) and still play it from time to time.

I'll just pipe in from time to time and talk Disney.

Someone came to me at work today and said they were doing a 3 bedroom villa at SSR with some friends, and asked me about stuff. They paused when I was able to provide transportation routes at the different resorts and asked me how I knew all that stuff. I said it is easy to remember the stuff you love. Comparably, I left my keys in the minivan last not in the on (motor not running) position.

That's very cool. These comments have me thinking (always a dangerous thing, I know). What are some other things we don't know about you guys that we might be interested to learn? (That you'd be willing to share, of course) I'd love to know what other hidden talents we have in this group.

Speaking of pianos... we bought an ancient upright from an old lady last year so my DD can practice at home. She is currently taking lessons from our church pianist. We had it tuned by a professional shortly after we got it... it is now in BAD need of a new tune. So... being the industrious cheapskate that I am, I went to eBay and bought the stuff I need to tune it myself. Received my brand new Korg chromatic tuner today... just waiting on the mutes and hammer. This is going to be FUN!
