We have never taken our boys (4 & 7) to LV.

I've heard nice things about both hotels but we haven't made up our minds. Need to book asap.

Any inputs? :confused3

Pool & amenities are the most important for us.

I would strongly say Mirage. It is far more central and the walking could add up for the 7yo and surely for the 4yo from Mandalay. The interior of the Mirage is way more exciting for kids and the volcano out the door as well.
The pool is very fun at Mandalay but to kids a pool is a pool.

Thank you!! Wish me luck, we are leaving tomorrow.

How was it?

It was great, we ended up staying at the Mandalay Bay.

The room was clean and nice, they gave us a "beach view" which my boys liked a lot. Service was great, when we check in we asked if we could purchase "The Lion King" show tickets for the day after, to our surprise the guy helping us out (Jaffeth) not only found tickets, but he gave us premium seating for the price of $92 each. He basically saved us over $100.

The boys loved the wave pool @ the beach & the lazy river. We drove there, but once at the hotel, decided to buy passes for that Deuce bus. It work great.

On the downside, we went to Fremont experience and thought it was just ok, a lot of weirdos out there, went to the Nascar cafe which in my opinion, it's a dump. Dirty dark smelly old place

Most of the food we tried was good. Beverages are extremely expensive.

Overall it was a nice 3 night vacation.
