On the Disney web site - I think there is an error on the LeCellier information...

Wonder if it could be the reason a lot of people have had no luck getting reservations there lately... I'll copy the error below... NOTE DINNER TIME!!!

We're hoping for anywhere where there's availabilty for christmas eve although might try for Chefs de France

Christmas Eve is our 1st choice, but have dicided to try for Le Cellier on another night hoping we will have better luck. I believe the 24th is very popular, for obvious reasons, so will be doing something else that night.

My choices are in order: Le Cellier - dinner; Tutto Italia Dinner; Biergarten dinner (I woule be willing to do lunches in the same order if I can't get any dinners).

I've been kind of torn between Tutto Italia and Biergarten, but we are already doing a lot of buffets, so I figured this would change it up.

LeCellier can be very dependent on party size. They are one of the most 'unfriendly' locations when it comes to booking an odd party size. Try for a reservation for 1? Probably won't happen. Plunk in the same parameters (Date and time) for a party of 2 and the world of dining opens up. Same for parties of 3, 5, 7 and so on.

I think that must be the case. We will be there from 12/11-12/18. I got a pin code yesterday and made my resort reservation. This far past the 180 mark I figured the high demand restaurants would be impossible but I went online and gave it a shot. Could not get anything for LeCellier on my first 2 dates but the third time was the charm. I was able to get LeCellier at 8:45 on 12/11
I hope that all of you are successful in your quest. I'm going to be up and primed with coffee on the 20th. I am not hopeful that I will get my 1st choices for the CP but I'll be glad to get anything even if it means giving up LeCellier.

I did the CP package at Tutto last year and it was so good. I also enjoyed Biergarten, except it was tough on the non adventures eaters in my family. I tried Le Cellier once became ill Disappointing because I always read such good reviews. I'm thinking of doing Coral Reef this year.

Yeah I noticed this last night. If you put in a time, say 6pm, instead the "dinner" option in the drop down menu you'll get more availability. I was able to grab decent Coral Reef and Rose & Crown Pub dinner ADRs for the December 11-17 week last night. I've been searching for "dinner" ADRs for about a week now getting all sorts of mad with the lack of availability, never figured putting in a specific time would give different results. If you use the "dinner" option in the drop down you'll get "No times available for Dinner on 12/XX/10." The five restaurants with this 4:20PM- 4:55PM dinner bug are

Biergarten
Coral Reef
Rose and Crown
Garden Grill
Le Cellier

Not going to help CPP reservations, but good for a backup.

Who knows who is right? Could be that they don't go on sale on 7/20 and it's just F&W. But, since Disney can't tell me, I will just keep calling

If I could get an absolute date, I would just wait until then, but I guess the CM's would miss my voice, so they don't give me hard date to call

I think we will do Jodie Benson, but Dh wants Whoopi. I only left 1 day open before I made all my original adrs and didnt know the narrarators. I have good adrs and dont want to change anything.

How is it that you know who the narrators are? Are you commenting on speculated narrators, or did I miss an announcement?

I'm really happy with our ADRs, too. I'm thinking we may try to go without a package. It looks like 12/5 would be our best night, so I was hoping to find out who would be there then. If it is someone I really don't want to miss, I'm going to book a package rather than taking a chance.

Thanks for asking about my mom. This is a bad week for her. She's had some bad reactions to the chemo, and her counts were low. They wouldn't give it to her this week, so she's upset about that. I think she just wants to get it over with.

I'm doing much better. I actually took a short walk outside tonight after the thunderstorms passed. It was so nice and cool I just couldn't resist. I am still having a lot of pain, but I see the doctor on Thursday. Hopefully it is just normal recovery.

I do hope to get to meet you in person! We'll PM when the dates get closer.

Called this am just to check and see whether a CM would say that they were opening up tomorrow.

She gave "end of July" as the date and told me that they were not given a specific date as of yet.

I'm going to be on the phone tomorrow at 7am, but I am wondering if the previous CM's were giving 7/20 because it was the opening of F&W dates. Now that I think of it, it would seem strange to open two major reservation events on the same day.

Does anyone know in the past if CP and F&W opened on the same date?

Well, the end of July is less than 2 weeks away, so I guess I can just keep watching and waiting

I'm doing my best to keep checking here each morning to find out when they start booking CP packages. I'm counting on this thread to keep me informed. I have immediate Email notifications of new posts on this. I want the CPP on a Monday and will be OK with any of 3 tier restaurants so I'm hopeful that I can get one of them even if I'm not on the phone at 7:00 am the morning that they start booking ADRs.

My DH has been ill the past 2 weeks and we've made 2 trips to the ER. The first time resulted in a hospital admission that lasted 2 days. The second time was just 6 hours in the ER. Lots of tests have been done and most of the serious possibilities have been ruled out but we still don't know the underlying cause of symptoms. (Mainly vertigo which causes associated problems.) We have a follow-up appointment with our internist this afternoon. I pray that this is all just a virus in his ear that will clear up or something simple like that.
