...with a trail mix bar!! :lovestruc I've always been a general Clif fan. I like the ingredients they use, I usually enjoy most of their flavors, etc. Kroger has all Clif bars 10 for $10 so I was checking out some new flavors I haven't tried yet. My eyes immediately went to the Clif Mojo Peanut Butter Pretzel sweet and salty trail mix bar. I grabbed five of them (I, apparently, was hopeful). I ate half this morning for breakfast (they're 200 calories a piece) and it tastes so good!! I'm saving the other half for my snack this afternoon but it's been hard all day not to just eat the other half!

I always enjoy when people recommend to me things that they really enjoy so I thought I'd share and maybe someone else would enjoy it too :goodvibes

You're welcome :goodvibes It is so good! It's like a regular chewy granola bar with peanuts, peanut butter chips, and peanut butter filled pretzels.

Have you tried Cliff Mojo Mountain Mix in the green wrapper? I LOVE them! Like Can't have them in the house LOVE them!

I read your post earlier this week and dh and I split one before our run tonight. It was yummy.:goodvibes Thanks for the recommendation!

Update on my love story :), so the day I posted this I felt like I wanted to let Clif know how much I enjoyed their products. There's a lot of protein bars, granola bars, trail mix bars that I just have choked down in the past because they were really good nutritionally but tasted like ground up multi-vitamins. I went on Clif's website to their question/comment section and just left a brief message about how I enjoyed their products (particularly this trail mix bar). I checked the mail today and they sent me 5 coupons for free Clif bars :lovestruc. I thought that was really nice of them and I feel like people are always ready to complain to a company about what they don't like instead of what they're doing right so it's nice that they appreciated the comments :goodvibes.

Thanks to your rave review....I had 2 this weekend. I loved them! I'll definitely be getting more of these in the future. Since I've never had a Clif bar until this weekend.....do you have any others that you'd recommend?

crewmatt - Yes they are! I like their Clif Quench sports drink too.

KinziePooh - That's great! :) I've generally liked all of the ones that I liked the ingredients of. I'm not a fan of berry/fruit things (except apple or banana) so I haven't tried any of them that have that. I like the regular carrot cake Clif bar (I tried the "chocolate brownie" flavor years ago and didn't really care for it; I think it's hard to get a true chocolate flavor in nutrition/granola bars) and the banana nut bread one. Luna Bars (which are made by Clif) have two flavors I enjoy called S'Mores and Chocolate Peppermint Stick (both of these are good but I still think the peanut butter pretzel one beats both).

My next one I'm going to try of Clif's is the dipped Mojo peanut butter and jelly one. That is if I can break myself away from the peanut butter pretzel ones (and stop buying cases just because they're on sale!).

I just got back from Sams Club and wouldn't you know, they had a box of Clif Mojo bars. There are three varieties...mountain mix, peanut butter pretzel and dipped chocolate peanut. I of course went right for the chocolate one first, lol. I think I might like it even better than the peanut butter pretzel. Now if only they'd combine the two and make dipped chocolate peanut butter pretzel....

I had tried chocolate brownie Balance Bars and I agree....they don't taste anything like chocolate. I'm glad I saw this thread because these Clif bars are great! I'll have to give the Luna bars a chance too. Those two flavors sound really good.
