I have a bunch of extra tortillas (la tortilla factory whole wheat) to use up. I've already had tacos, and leftovers from tacos. This noon I wrapped up leftover fish and veggies with some Korean BBQ sauce. (yum!) Tonight we're having balsamic chicken so leftovers of that with some peppers and onions should work tomorrow.

I'm new to the wrap thing, but I'm loving these tortillas. I feel like I'm having a HUGE meal, but it's really on target with my ww points. Can people share their wrap ideas?

I've left them flat for some things like grilled cheese sandwich/tortilla, roast beef with cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc

I have gone the leftover route like you and had steak, chicken, haven't tried fish yet

Tried my own Mexican style wrap had cream cheese, or sour cream, roast beef & turkey, lettuce, Mexican style cheese and topped it off with salsa Mmm Mmm messy but good

Tabouli. There is a Mediterranean deli close to my house that makes great tabouli and I like to put some in a tortilla or pita and just eat it.

Turkey and swiss cheese or any type of lunch meat and cheese. You could even add bacon if you wanted. Then warm it up on the George Foreman Grill. I guess you could add lettuce, tomato, mayo, ranch, etc (aka stuff I do not like lol) Leftover chicken, beef, and portk would be good, too.

Thanks for the great ideas! I'll have to get out my George Forman for quesadillas. I also have pizza stuff, so I could use them as pizza crust.

On the rare mornings I roll out of bed to be able to workout before work I will grab a tortilla, smear some natural peanut butter on it (Krema sold at Kroger is my favorite, it's a no-stir peanut butter that you don't even have to keep in the fridge and the one and only ingredient is peanuts and it actually tastes a lot like Jif! [ok, off of my peanut butter soapbox]) and roll a banana up in it to eat on my way to work. I saw this in the Food Network magazine (and I love peanut butter banana sandwiches) and it is really good!

I wish I had a Mediterranean deli close to my house :( I do get Tabouli from Trader Joe's often and had never thought about wrapping it up!

I love the peanut butter/banana idea! I'm on a soynut butter kick (we don't eat peanuts) and this sounds great. The Costco package of tortillas is so big - I need lots of ideas!

I make quesadillas just using fat free refried beans and cheese. Sometimes I make it with just cheese - like a grilled cheese sandwich to dip with tomato soup. I also use them for pizza crusts. I've sprayed them with pam, sprinkled on seasoning, cut into pieces, and then baked to make chips to dip in salsa. I've also put pam and seasoning and baked them in an oven proof bowl to make a crispy edible taco salad bowl. I make breakfast burritos with them. Chicken, ham, or tuna salad is great in them. Bean enchiladas. Wow - just realized I use tortillas a lot!

A thiiin scraping of Jif Reduced Fat Peanut Butter, and a banana! :lovestruc

I use those wraps for just about anything that I used to use bread for. The Omega-3 thing is extra good for me, since I won't eat anything from the water, and at 100 calories I think it's a pretty good choice :thumbsup2 I use 'em for quesadillas, I'll boil up chicken and put chunks of that in there with shredded cheese and Honey Mustard, heck I've even made myself a PB&J with one before! ;)

I agree that anything that goes on bread can go in a tortilla. There are some great ideas here already.

Our favorites are:
breakfast burritos
pizza
quesadillas (cheese and chicken chunks with spinach)
baked chips (like stated above)
hummus & roasted red peppers
butter spray and nothing else(I think only I would eat this)
butter spray with splenda and cinnamon
standard burritos, tacos, fajitas

Really, the possibilities are endless!

Well I use low carb wraps instead of bread for everything! But my favorite thing to eat with them is tied between: scramble egg whites, fresh spinach, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese with a tbsp of pesto...wrap and pressed in the panini maker!!!! OR cut the wrap into triangles, bake till crispy and dip into hummus!!!!:thumbsup2

A quickie lunch i'll do sometimes is chopped up broccoli (really small) and onion - just warm them up a little in a non-stick pan - put some shredded cheese on the wrap then pour the warm veggies on it to melt the cheese, and roll it up

Veggies, whatever you have that fits in your plan, maybe some lowfat mozzarela put in oven high heat around 400 for about 10 min for nice crisp flat bread

For a snack or lunch I will put hummus and black olives and roll them up, then cut on small circles. My kids even like it!!

grilled bean and cheese burritos. You can use either refried or your fav canned beans. Fill them roll them and place the end down on the grill or fry pan on a medium high heat. Really good! A bit different than tacos especially if you normally use beef filling.

I love my bean tacos or burros. :goodvibes

quesadillas is a good one but also you can do a lot with chicken, add lettuce(other veggies if desired) and ranch or any mustard blends. Makes for a snack wrap McD's style.

The nutbutter sounds like a good option I have done that before once or twice with leftover tortillas. I haven't tried this yet on tortillas(only bread) but I LOVE some grilled peanut butter sandwiches I suppose it would work with tortilla too. Either for lunch or a dessert snack.
