Dining Plan Question

We booked the Disney World Vacation Package PLUS Dining. I'm wondering about the dining plan. I'm beginning to think we should have just done hte quick service plan...

There are a couple of character meals that I have booked for us. I know that these will use a table service credit. We also have a quick service credit for each day. I think the quick service meals will be a lot simplier for us. (We are traveling with our 3 year old, and I'm pregnant, so I'm guessing some meals will need to be *Now* vs. waiting for a table). What I'm wondering is...is it possible to "exchange" table service credits for quick service credits with the plan?

For example, if we've used all of our quick service credits up, but still have table service credits left, can we use them at a restaurant listed as a quick service restaurant? Or are we limited to using them only at a table service restaurant?
Thanks!

You may be able to do this but if you are paying for the plan, it is not a good value to use the majority of your TS credits for CS meals.

You can also call Disney and have your package switched to the quick service plan, then pay cash for the few TS meals you want.

We found the QSDP worked great for us! We got plenty to eat and enjoyed the flexibility. Just reviewed all the menus online at home, to know in advance where we would find something to our liking. Then we knew what choices we had wherever we found ourselves hungry. popcorn::

We have added one OOP TS reservation during each trip on the QS plan.

Enjoy your trip, and congrats!! :goodvibes

We traveled last year with a 2 1/2 & 3 1/2 year old. We were on the regular DDP. We had some of the same concerns as you so we made sure to book mostly buffets. That way, we could eat what we wanted, when we wanted, and leave when we wanted.
