Towels for the pool

we are staying at ssr....do they give towels to use at the pool? I don't want to pack beach towels as they are big and bulky. I am hoping the answer is yes.

What are you talking about a time limit? On towels? Please explain....

We stay at SSR every year, and they do provide towels at the pool. The towels at the pool are just like the bath towels except they have a different weave pattern, so I presume the mousekeeping staff can tell which towels go where. You can even take them back to your room and use them, just return them to the towel return hamper when you're done. The towels are in a large tiered cart on the left side of the pool building. Just walk up and take them. This is the rub. If you place the towel on your chair to keep you chair, they all look alike. They're also a bit small if you're a big person. I personally pack my own pool towels, but then, we drive a van and I over pack!! The times we flew, I didn't pack towels.

towels are always and issue. We usually go back to the hotel in the afternoon for a swim. They towels are usually gone by then. There will be 6 of us this trip, and with showering and pool, towels will be a nightmare I know. We always ask room service for more, but they always say they dont have anymore.
I hate to pack them, one cause they are bulky and two because they never dry in the room with the air on and all.....

I've never had a problem with the towels being gone. I guess its when you go and time of year. Maybe you can grab some towels at the pool in the morning before you leave for the parks, so you'll have them ready when you return. Drying is not an issue at DVC resorts because we have washer/dryers, but in Studios or regular hotel rooms, we usually bring a drying rack in the car so that we can put the towels to dry near the air unit or on the porch (if we have one).
