noooo... there are a bunch of things they don't have listed. They're are threads that have them listed... like Dole whips, ice cream but not just the kind from the wagons, Mickey rice crispy treats... and soooo many more. Try and find that thread... tons of other good tips as well.;)

ooooohh thanks guys. So when you go into a store, how do you know what is and what is not a snack credit?

Most places have the DP symbol next to the item on the dining plan.

I found that sometimes the cm's refused to believe it was a snack until they typed it in and then in surprise would say..."OH, look at that!" LOL I think it's just really hard to keep up with all the goodies. I found the snack list here and emailed it to myself so I could scroll through the list on my phone when I needed. :)

Last trip xmas week 2009-2010, we found most were allowed if under $4.00. I was able to use snack for cappucino at Main st bakery because it was under $4, but not at the Coffee cart in Italy(epcot) because it was more. I got a wonderful piece of cheescake(no sugar added) at BW bakery and DH got wonderful choc dessert both for snack credits. I found that most cm told you what or if you could use snack credit(like at Goofy's in DTD), but they do have the icons on the menus.

We love using our snack creidts at the Main St Bakery after the fireworks. Almost everything thing in the bakery was 1 snack credit

The brochure lists examples of what you can use snack credits for. Disney would be quite happy if you'd use them all on bottled water/soda, popcorn, and ice cream bars.

As noted above, many places have a menu with special logos next to snack credit eligible items. The best route, though, is to ask the CM, "can I get xxx for a snack credit?"

main street confectionary doesn't display the DDP sign unless it has changed since October but they do have a catalogue book which details the current options for snack credit.

Very Clever! Kudos!

ooh where is this catalog book with the snack options?

When we went into the store on Main Street to buy Candy in October on our last day my DD said something like 'I wish I could use my last credits here then I could have loads'. A lovely CM heard her and explained that as the credits aren't marked in there they have a catalogue book behind the counter and you can use your snack credits for any item currently in there.

Can't remember everything but she definitely got a couple of bags of the chocolate character coins for a snack credit each, a large character lollipop (although only certain characters were available) and a bucket of cotton candy (seem to think the bags were a no-go which seemed odd as the buckets were larger!)

Only problem is this trip we are on dxdp and she seems to think if she doesn't eat snacks all week and gets us to buy water from garden grocer she can come back with her 14 treats to enjoy when she gets home. :thumbsup2

I use my snack credit for a fresh fruit cup for breakfast every am & a couple of years ago for beignets @ POFQ for mom's breakfast.

We were kinda bummed when we started our last vaca @ BC and DH wanted a treat from B & C but didn't find anything on the snack list there... too expensive I guess :rotfl:
We paid OOP for a chocolate milkshake... cha-ching! :upsidedow

BUT, we went over to Seashore Sweets :goodvibes (a 3 minute walk- which we needed to counter-act all those yummy calories :rotfl2:) and they had sundaes- you pick the flavors- on the DDP snack credit. :thumbsup2
...so big we had to share one!
I just know he is dreaming of one right now...:cloud9: ;)

Hey all, I was reading and was wondering if the ice cream sandwiches at Dino Bite are not considered a snack credit anymore? And does anyone know where I can find an ice cream sandwich for a snack credit?? thanks!!

I believe you can use a snack credit for any of the ice cream bars that are in the ice cream carts around the parks.

The regular pre-packaged ice cream sandwiches are still a snack credit.

The big ones made of two bakery cookies and hand scooped-ice cream at Dino Bite are not. I know they're not at the POFQ food court, either. I have heard they are still a snack credit at Main Street Bakery but I haven't had one there myself.

they have hand scooped ice cream sandwiches available in the main street bakery as a snack credit. last month, my mom and i split one it was so big! you can choose any two cookies you want then they fill it vanilla ice cream. yummy!
