If we were at a TS and DD (13) couldn't find anything off the adult menu, could she choose something off the kids menu using her adult TS credit?

Thanks

You can also pay out of pocket for the kids meal and keep the TS credit. If she does this 2 or 3 times then you have enough credits to go to another restaurant.

This is what we do. I would not waste a TS credit on a child meal that might cost about $7.00. Pay OOP for the child meal and save the credit. We have done this many times with my picky DD...never a problem. :goodvibes

As noted, you can always choose to just get a kid's meal OOP. Alternatively, if she's actually hungry for more food than a kid's meal, but the items on that menu still appeal to her, ask if she can get an adult size portion of the kid's meal for her TS credit.

No guarantees, but I've heard several stories of this working.

My picky eater - DS12 (at the time) - ordered Mahi Mahi :confused3 off of the children's menu at CRT. They made an adult sized portion for him and he devoured the whole thing! He said it was his favorite meal of the entire trip and asked if we're going to CRT again this year (unfortunately, no).

I would imagine that the pizza size wouldn't differ between kid or adult credit so, if that would be what your DD wanted, I would pay OOP for that.

My picky DS orders chicken strips at every meal. They bring him an adult portion and we were able to us his adult TS credit.

My 12 year old daughter asked if she could use her Table service credit and order from the kids menu at Tutto Italia and they told her no. She had to order an adult meal. I personally found this ridiculous as she would have been ordering something of less value. We were quite disappointed as all she wanted was the pizza. It was our last meal there.

I truly question the value of the Dining Plan on picky eaters like mine unless you do what a previous poster mentioned and just pay out of pocket for them. This is what we usually do.
