what's your budget weakness?

If left to your own devices or had extra $ to spend on yourself, what would you habitually choose?

Mine is purses. I love new bags, not necessarily pricey but really soft leather or one that is the perfect size. My souvenir from Disney was a $120 Coach tote from the outlet. Not a planned purchase but that back of the room clearance wall combined with a 20% off coupon convinced me. That was way more than I usually spend. Shoes and clothes don't really do it for me, give me a purse anyday.

Really really good chocolate (it can get pricey) and expensive moisturizer. These are rare and special treats!

For me it's purses too. I alllow myself one drop dead pricy bag a year. It's a good splurge because I will get a lot of use out of that purse since I will carry it most days in that season.

How did you get a 20% off at the outlet? I am going at the beginning of June, and I saved my birthday money from my parents and mil and then I got a check from PTO for teacher appreciation week (so it makes it okay)

they handed them out at the door. I think they do that fairly often, I've gotten other ones that way, lol

I like gadgets a bit but I'm usually behind. When my brother has raved about a gadget that "will change your life" for about 3 yrs, then I'll jump on the bandwagon. like tivo, that was a good one

you'd think I'd spent $2000 the way my mother kept telling my DD how good mommy budgets the money, works hard and saves up for special treats now and then. My DD sighs and goes, "I know, I know- coupons. She probably got me with a coupon."

This sounds silly, but it would be Diet Pepsi and Diet Dr. Pepper. I don't drink coffee, so I get my caffeine by drinking soda. If I have no soda, I will buy it whether it is on sale or not.

Oh, for the Coach person who asked about the 20% off coupon...they do sometimes hand them out at the door, but just Google "Coach Outlet Coupon" and usually the first one up is a coupon you can print. This is almost always for 20% off of your total purchase, even after the 40% off clearance and such.
