Thanksgiving meal...

Any good recommendations? We don't want to go to a park this day and will be staying in Boardwalk Inn. Anyone have a good experience at Cape May?

I have done Cape May on a non-holiday night. The food was good and fresh and there was a lot of variety.

If you are looking for something more festive I might think about WCC at WL. The food is good, the atmosphere is festive and the service is outstanding.

I spent two Thanksgiving Dinners at Cape May 04 and 06. Both were wonderful!! All the traditional fare along with the seafood fare and a large dessert area,too!
Hopefully you'll get a response from someone who's been last year!!

We have spent several Thanksgivings at Disney. Call us "weird" but we have been to ESPN every year to watch the late football game. Yes..Bears fans going to watch the Cowboys. Go figure.

We enjoy it to no end. It really is alot of fun seeing each fan base go crazy during the game.

We will be there this year. Get there early if you plan on ESPN...its the Saints vs. Cowboys this year.

THAT may be an all-time best just watching both of their fan bases go crazy !!

We had Thanksgiving dinner last year at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was SO good!!!! I know it's not convenient to the Boardwalk Inn, but it is worth it in my opinion! The resort has animals ON-SITE that you can watch roam around in their savannahs (giraffes, zebras, etc..), outdoor fireplaces with storytelling, the resort itself is just gorgeous!

Boma was a wonderful dinner. Not crowded at all, a yummy traditional Thanksgiving feast, african dishes, amazing soups and salads, and amazing desserts!!

We had tried but had no luck booking Liberty Tree Tavern last year for Thanksgiving.We took Ohana and thought oh well we will make the best of it.

We are so happy we did it was FANTASTIC! We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Oooohhh really?? They will also have the traditional Thanksgiving grub??? Ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, etc...??? This may be the ONLY way I can get my family back to Boma I LOVED Boma, but everyone else was like "bleh." I will definitely consider this for our Thanksgiving feast! (And I'll be the one eating African cuisine)

We ate at Cape May for the 1st time the night before Thanksgiving 2009. We really enjoyed it and already have it booked again for our OCt. 2010 trip. I think its safe to say that most WDW restaurants(especially buffets) on T-giving have their regular fare and add in traditional Thanksgiving food.

Thanks! We are clueless about a Thanksgiving trip. Our original plans were to volunteer at a shelter/soup kitchen on the actual day, but I can't find any info on it
