What to do with extra child TS credit?

Our children will have a few TS credits left over and we were not planning on any other TS meals. Is there some way we can use them, or will we just lose them?

I know that you used to be able to trade in a TS credit for a CS meal and two snack coupons, but not sure if they are still doing that.

All meals expire midnight of the original date of check-out(if you lengthen your resort resi whileyou are there, they still expire as originally stated). If you don't use them for a child before this time, they do indeed get wasted. Wondering if I am misunderstanding what you are asking?

Last sept we had a few QS leftover and where able to use them as snacks. We loaded up on boxes of Minnie cookies, Mickey rise crispies and our favorite candy to take home!!

Staying in a deluxe? Order some children's room service meals. If the kids are in-room with a relative or babysitter, they can order kids' room service. Unfortunately if you are at a value or moderate you can't use children's TS credits to order pizza.

You may be able to trade them for CS meals (probably just children's meals unless you go somewhere that has no children's menu and they will accept the TS credit)

Sometimes parents go out to dinner and put the kids in a kids' club for the evening - they get to eat at the club. You can't use dining credits for the kids club, so if the family is on the dining plan it results in leftover kids' credits, which can only be used to buy children's menu meals. This family appears to have at least three children on the plan, so it means a LOT of leftover children's credits.

Thanks for the ideas. I was hoping we could use them at CS if need be, but wasn't sure. It will be nice to stop at MSB for breakfast and have the kids' food/drinks already paid for.

As for the question of why we have left over kids meals, we are debating a adults only meal once or twice. Also, with the way my kids eat, they would be likely to share two meals at some TS places, if allowed. They just don't eat a normal TS kids meal each and usually have food left over when we order two. I would just hate to see all that food wasted, if it doesn't have to be.

It would be near perfect if we could have one room on the DxDDP and one room on the QSDP, but I don't know if Disney's policies will allow us to use the credits how we want to. We would all be on a plan (1 adult and 2 kids in each room,) but we would want to use credits for all 6 people off of card A for TS places and credits for all 6 people off of card B at CS places. Allowed?

The next best option is putting both rooms on the reg DDP, but I would prefer it the other way if allowed, as we would get 2 more TS meals (paying for one adult OOP at the last meal, which is likely to be CP breakfast) double the snacks and the refillable mugs for about $125 more.

No, it wouldn't be allowed. You would not be able to order meals for everyone on the deluxe dining plan key card, only the 1 adult meal and 2 child meals the deluxe dining plan room would be allotted.

Well that is too bad for us, as it would be the perfect mix of TS and CS for the adults (9 TS and 6 CS.) After doing some math, I think CRT dinner ($220), Le Cellier dinner ($115), CP breakfast ($77) and 36 snacks ($125) adds up to just $27 less than than getting the DxDDP for both rooms ($564 to upgrade from Kids Stay, Play, Eat free for 3 nights.) We plan to eat at those places and get that many snacks, whether we get a plan or pay OOP. This way we will get an additional 5 TS or CS meals and 6 refillable mugs basically for free. There is a part of me though that just hates the thought of spending some of those credits on CS, when they could be used at a TS :rotfl:
