WCC for Thanksgiving Question

Anyone had their Thanksgiving meal at WCC?

We are headed down for a trip around Thanksgiving (I know, but it's my 40th birthday so what are you going to do?!?!) with a bunch of family ( I KNOW, but they want to help me celebrate) and we are trying to decide where to have our Thanksgiving meal.

We are a family that hits WCC at least once per trip and really enjoy it. We like the food and LOVE all the craziness. We know what we are getting ourselves in to ... however, I was wondering if they still do all the fun stuff and antics on Thanksgiving or if, like the menu, it changes for the day.

Also, would you think that lunch or dinner would be the better choice?

We ate there Thanksgiving 2009 and really disliked it. We love WCC normally and were terribly disappointed. The service was horrible and the food was not very good. The service was just the luck of the draw; I'm sure there are others who had great wait people. We had bad luck for sure! We were a family of 14.

The food was really overcooked, dried out, and plain ole yuck. We went at 4 PM. I was jealous when I read other people's reviews of other places. I really liked the look of the Ohana dinner that night!

Thanks for the response, though I am disappointed in the answer.

I guess we will stick with it for a regular meal and look elsewhere for Thanksgiving.

We are staying at BCV and the rest of our group is at OKW so maybe we will try one of the restaurants at those resorts.

We are going to be at BCV for Thanksgiving as well. We have heard good things about the Cape May Buffet Thanksgiving meal. That is where we are going to try to get our ADR. Maybe we will see you there.

We LOVE the Cape May Cafe for breakfast but hadn't even thought about it for Thanksgiving!

Do you know if they do lunch for that meal, or just dinner like normal days?

We'll be doing dinner. I am not sure if they are doing a lunch.
