A bit worried, ticket question

This is going to get confusing, so I'll try to keep it as short, and simple as possible.

Back in 2005 we had some 1 day tickets and some 2 day tickets. Which we then upgraded all of them to 7 day non-expiration tickets.

But because of how we did the tickets, and carrying the tickets around for several days, I ended up having several ticket <stubs?> for each of us.

On the 7 day tickets I wrote how many days were remaining on each ticket. And then proceeded to toss the 2 day tickets <that were used> away.

Problem is, Did I really????? Did I mess up and throw good tickets away keeping the bad ones??? Did I??:scared::scared1:

Is there any way to check the tickets I have to see if they are still good? If I did throw the good ones away and kept the bad ones, is there a way to find that out as well before we actually get to Disney??

I'd really hate to finally get back to Disney and find out after all this time I have the bad ones and the good ones are long gone. Can you say I'm a bit scared by the prospect???

And I do have one other question, we didn't put our names on each adult ticket, will we have to try each one for each adult? And what about the youngest "adult" who was 10 at the time we bought his ticket but is going on 16? I think I read something about they don't really do fingerprints but the size and shape of the finger. I'd think in 5+ years his finger would change quite a bit. But again, I don't know, and I wanna make it as smooth as possible.

And yes I know I should have been more careful with the tickets. I *think* I have the right tickets, but I want to KNOW before we get down there if at all possible. Otherwise I'm going to fret and worry about it, and since there's no way of getting the other tickets back, it worries me even more!

So help??!! hehe

Throwing away any ticket with days remaining on it is a loss.

Currently you have to be there in person to find out how many days remain on a ticket.

If you are going to be in the theme parks for more than 3 days and need a new ticket, it is better to buy the new ticket to cover it all and not utilize old tickets. Also don't get the non-expiration unless that ticket can cover another entire vacation.

Do you still have any receipts from the ticket upgrade transactions? This might allow you to get the discarded tickets re-issued.

Shoot, I was hoping there was a way I could enter the ticket numbers to check their status.

I'm really hoping I have the correct ones and the ones I tossed were the old nothing on them tickets. And I think they are, it just would be nice to know for sure before we got down there.

I may still have the receipt around here, if I do, I'll take that with me as well, just in case.

And lesson learned, next time toss old tickets with nothing on them as soon as they are empty. Or cart everything with you until they can be checked. Otherwise you're left with the "Oh shoot did I???" questions.

You could try calling Disney and explain the situation and then ask them to check for you. I did this once with my Uncles ticket when he wasn't sure what he had.

Always photocopy the back of you tickets. If they ever get lost (or thrown away), Disney will replace them.

I was able to call Disney at (407)566-4985 option 2. They will tell you how many park days and plus admissions you have left.

Thank you so much! I'll give them a call tomorrow as soon as the kids are at school....much quieter that way

I was wondering if you got an answer, the number that was given to you was a number to inquire about tickets that worked for awhile but about maybe 6 months ago they stopped giving out the info.

It used to be that they would not give out this info over the phone, you had to go on property. About 2 years ago they published a number where if you gave them the info on the back of the ticket over the phone they would tell you the remaining days. Cheshire Figment even put it the Ticket Sticky.

At some point less and less people where able to get the info, some CM's would give it to you and some wouldn't. Eventually nobody that answered the phone would give you the info.

The "number" still pops up in threads but I'm not sure if the person posting it actually used it recently or is just repeating info that they read months ago.

Thats why I'm asking whether or not you got the info.

Haven't gotten the chance to call yet, but very glad for the heads up it might not work. Never know unless you try I guess.
