Pre-ordering groceries to your accommodation

Been taking a look at the US forums and there are some posts about pre-ordering groceries using companies such as WeGoShop. Has anyone used such a service and if so, how did you find it ordering from the UK?

i think alot on here order from garden grocer i think it is but we are not going to bother as we have the ddp and we will do a little shop at walmart for anything we need for the twins

Hubby suggested he jump in a taxi with eldest and nip across to the Crossroads shopping area in LBV as we're staying at SSR. We could do that on our first full day as we are holding off dashing to the parks until we've all had chance to settle in.

not sure that supermarket will be there by aug as heard it was shutting plus its very expensive compared to walmart

we have used wegoshop and they were excellent. cut and paste our online order from an american supermarket site (we used safeway) with info to change as required. shopping was delivered on time, she put things in fridge/bathroom as ness and we paid TC.
very very good service...tip was cash

U might as well go walmart only few dollars more better choice and alot cheaper staying Saratoga in sept and will be going walmart for a little shop that always turns in to a big shop

We always order from gardengrocer and have the groceries waiting at our resort upon arrival. Saves $$$ on water and snacks for the kids plus I get to order things like my peanut butter to bring home LOL.

They have always been brilliant.

We used Garden Grocer and they were amazing!!

30 bottles of water for $7 is the best part! (think how much that'd set you back in WDW!)

We re-ordered half way through the trip too.

Yes they do.

You just put your order together on their website. Choose a delivery date and time. And it's delivered to the concierge desk.

Really easy and was a lifesaver for us on arrival and also for breakfasts and things. We bought kellogs cereal packs with individual portions, a big carton of Soy Milk, paper bowls (we were cheeky and took extra spoons from the Mara) bagels, ham, philly, twinkies etc.

Oooh and lots of crisps and Mountain Dew Code red.

Was great.

Cheers, sounds ideal, we have DDP for next Oct but could really use it for breakfast in the room, so we can keep our credits for lunch & dinner.

i've ordered three times - actually had full meals delivered...
did this twice in orlando and once in Paris..

had complete catered meals delivered to the suites we were staying in (suites that had full kitchens)..

it was wonderful...everything was in the kitchen when we arrived...

it wasn't cheap, but wonderfully convenient...

the company we used for the prepared meals has since gone out of business, but i have used garden grocer for groceries -i'd forgotten. DH reminded me and i just went to look at their website and remembered.

they were very good! we didn't want to have to run off to the store first thing when we got to orlando, so we ordered from them....i was very happy we did..

We used Garden Grocer and LOVED it! We ordered and payed for our whole order about three months before our trip (my choice). We purchased drinks as well as various breakfast items, juice, coffee, milk, etc. It was great! I even pre-payed our tip. I arranged for our groceries to be delivered before we arrived. It was awesome! Almost as good as our Owner's Locker. So now I have two must do's!!!!

Probably a stupid question but if we are staying at saratoga springs and want a delivery - when it is delivered do they put it in your room? I was wondering what happens if you order milk, ice cream etc .... or do we have to guestimate what time we will be there????

I use wegoshop and they are fantastic. I wanted a pre-lit 6ft Christmas tree that wasn't too expensive as we were leaving it there and they found one in walmart, 3 months before Christmas and kept it for us. Also I wanted a turkey to feed 10 people and they found one and delivered it on Christmas Eve. basically anything I wanted, they found. Cannot recommend them enough.
