Captain EO returns

Great news, HISTA has had it's day for me, not even bothered with going to the WDW one as I've done the DLP one toooooo many times!

:goodvibes

I saw the HISTA in DLP several years ago (scared my son who was only 3 granted), but havent seen the one in WDW - anyway will be good to see Captain EO. I have never even heard of it, but looks interesting after I googled it.

Luke - sorry about the football last night!

Luke - sorry about the football last night!

:hippie: Thanks.
In all honesty tho, I actually wasn't too bothered by going out. I think I'd have been more bothered had we been in the competition from the start but I've never really been comfortable with the dropping out of the Champions League and into the UEFA rule.

Hope Fulham go all the way and do it now :thumbsup2

Wooh!!!! way off topic, Captain EO has nothing to do with Liverpool or Fulham.

Its a known fact he was a Leeds supporter :rotfl2:

Sorry Wayne, but surely the beauty of this place is how things can often go off topic :lmao:

Back on topic, but is there any indication how long this will be for? And also when it's run finishes are they going to just put HISTA back or use something new.
Surely the Honey, I... franchise has very little relevance these days, I bet most kids now who see the attraction would have little to no idea about what it's based on?

We first saw Captain Eo at Disneyland in January 1997 on our first ever Disney visit. Previously we'd had no interest in Theme Parks or Disney and that holiday (a week in LA with free tickets for Disney and Universal won by DS in a Clark's shoes competition) has proved to be very costly since. We were knocked out by everything we saw and did on that holiday so I'm really looking forward to see how it compares with my memory. DH (who has a very short memory) can't remember anything about it so is looking forward to enjoying it all over again. ;)

I loved this show when it was on in Epcot, so am really looking forward to it's return:thumbsup2

Doubt its mine but I have to see it, won't be there long.

I saw it first time around but can't really remember it - didn't get to see it at Disneyland in Apr, but think I'll give it a go in Oct... not a huge MJ fan but sort of liked the 'Thriller' stuff... :scared1:

I saw it in 1991 and thought it was quite good - I think he looked really good in it - such a pity that he didnt think so and kept changing his face

i ll get dragged in by the boys;), they love Mj, not my thing though!

Saw this at DLRP and oh my god wowowowow, me and my sister both loved it! Amazing to think how much effort and attention to detail must have gone into making it not to mention the cost

I hope it's still there in December to - I did see it before HISTK and although I can't really remember it - I do think I liked it better :)

What is Captian EO?

I went on HISTA only once and that was in 1998. DS(7 at the time) was terrified and just curled up in a ball on his seat. It was the most un-Disney time of my holiday (well apart from my major PMT flare up in MGM's sunset boulevard - but that is another story!)
