Hi im assuming that everyone does this, but just wanted to check as a lot of people ring them i think. While i was busy at work :happytv: i looked at a few restaurants online and was able to make reservations through the website for everywhere on disney site. I have only booked chef mickeys so far but am able to book everything i want.
Is this fine to do or should i ring to make sure my reservation is booked.
Wasnt sure if everyone does this as it saves ringing disney for the old phone bill.

I call...but Im a worrier !!

I like a wee lassie on the other end to tell me every thing is sorted.

I do use this number tho.....08442009595 ( diailed before Disney number ) as it cuts cost to .5p per min.

Ok thanks, wasnt sure if i was being a genius that the wife never tells me i am or if i was out of date with all this online booking way.

You will find most people do online,I do think Im in the minority to call but it gives me piece of mind.

Last year I had to ring as the online system was not available then, 1 hour 20 mins to find my reservation then reserve 10 meals, I can never hear properly what they are saying, they are too quiet and they can't understand my accent.
This year done all online, couldn't be any easier, just had to ring to do Fantasmic package and Hoop Dee Doo. Took longer for those 2 by phone than the other 17 online.
I have never heard of anyone having problems with an online reservation but your choice if you want to ring.
If you do ring use one of the low cost numbers as in previous post, I use Telediscount but there are many others from .5p/min

Cheers wayne think i will be using the internet.
I have a 2 year old who will be 3 on our trip. We are gonna do the peter pan cruise, for her birthday as she loves him. Also booked chef mickeys.
We was going to do mickeys backyard bbq but didnt realise they dont come to your table. Do you recommend any other shows for someone of her age as you seem to do a lot of them wayne.
Previous visit did tusker house, like to always do something diffrent each year. Was thinking prime time cafe for some lunch??
Thanks.

Not doing Prime Time until August but wouldn't say its much for a 3 year old from what I have heard.

There is enough going on in Magic Kingdom (and other parks)for a 3 year old to take in without having to go looking for lots of extra things IMO.
Depending what she likes Pooh & friends are in Crystal Palace. Lilo & Stitch at O'hanas
More are listed here. http://allears.net/din/cb.htm

Cheers mate, yeah she has been twice already and she isnt even 3 yet, lucky girl.
Think we will settle for chef mickeys and peter pan pirates cruise. Like you say their is enough for her to do without paying too much for all the other stuff. She is just at the age now where she loves all disney stuff. Peter pan, monsters inc etc etc.
Thanks again.

DS is 15, August will be his 55th trip abroad, list here about half of them to Florida. A bit different to me, I was about 18-19 before I want abroad. Don't know how lucky they are.:rotfl:

lol yeah didnt really have a holiday abroad till i was about 18, well unless you call ireland abroad. She has seen us married their and had a planning session and now for her birthday. Maybe they will look after us wayne when we are old on our pensions. They may take us for being so nice over the years.

Just to say that don't book any pre-payable meals online if you are on the diningplan. For some reason it doesn't recognise your dining plan and charges you. Had major problems with this on Monday and both CMs I spoke to said it was a system glitch.

I did mine online - as long as you keep a note of the confirmation number you will be fine.

Prime Time Cafe is great - good food, and really entertaining servers!!! No characters though!:goodvibes

This was my first time booking ADR's and I found the online system to be fantastic! :goodvibes so quick and easy and pretty much what I wanted! Very user friendly too. I am taking print outs of my emailed confirmations, just incase there is a problem at the time - I can still prove they were booked!:rotfl:
