Should I cancel this one or not?

Ok. I was lucky enough to score an 8:30 table at Les Chefs de France around the time of Illuminations! Here's the ting: I already have a ressie there a few days later at 1:40 in hopes to see Remy.

Should I keep the 8:30 ressie or not? I would love to get a really good spot for the show, but I know that may not even be guaranteed. Plus, there's other restaurants I'd like to try.

I would just keep the 1:40 ressie with Remy and go somewhere else the other night. Like you said, you can't guarantee a table by the window and besides, there are many other great (and better) spots to see Illuminations. Have fun!

Chefs de France is ground level. While there are windows, and you cansee the water, if you are going there for a great view of Illuminations you will be disappointed

there is a wall and trees and the stands selling food not to mention people between you and Illuminations. I would not go there looking for a view of the show

What they said. You can't really see anything of Illuminations from inside LCDF. You can see the light of explosions and hear them, but you can't see the globe or the fireworks bursting, etc.

If you want to SEE Illuminations then cancel the ressie and just park yourself by the water on the railing somewhere.
