How does dining work if not staying on property?

Okay, this is our 4th time going to the World but this is our first time staying off property.
We made reservations at Chef Mickeys and O'Hana's.

I'm just not sure how that is going to work. For O'Hana's we can just leave the park and hop on the MR to Poly for the dinner.

But for Breakfast at Chef Mickey's do we just head to MK in our car and they will have a place to park by the Cont. Or do we park as though we are going to MK? Maybe I am over thinking this???:confused3

We did the Chef Mickey's breakfast on our last trip, and we just drove to the Contemp, then left and drove to MK afterwards.

You could also just drive to MK and take the monorail over to the Contemp.

Yes of course. We could jus park at MK and take the MR to Cont. and then take it back to MK if we decide to go to that park on that day. If not, just park at Cont. and drive to another park if we have to...
Thank You!!!

BTW...We have 4 little Pirates...Bless You!

You can park at the Contemporary while you eat then drive to the MK parking when you are done if that's where you are headed.

Is it possible to park at the TTC and get the monorail to the Contemporary then monorail back to the TTC or MK after (depending on your plan for the day)? Sorry, I am not super familar with parking over there.

Yes, you can.

if you're going to the MK on your Chef Mickey day, just drive to the Contemporary and pay to valet park...it will cost you about the same as parking at the Transportation & Ticket Center. With valet parking, you can just leave your car at the Contemporary all day/evening and either take the monorail to MK or walk over to MK. Much less hassle & time than parking at the T&TC, getting monorail to Contemporary. At the end of your MK day take the monorail back to Contemporary (or walk) and relax while the valet goes & gets your car for you...instead of waiting for a bus/ferry, then taking a tram, then hiking to your car, then waiting in line at the exit.

If you're not going to the MK that day, just get a 3 hour parking pass at the Contemporary parking kiosk. They'll ask for your name & possibly photo id (they do have a list of Cont. guests & restaurant reservations.)
