Anyone ever do CRT with the TiW card?

How did they give you the 20% credit back?

Just curious because we recently ate there and after returning from my trip I noticed the 20% credit back to the credit card that I used to purchase the breakfast.

I also notice another credit back to the card which in essence would have creditted back the entire meal. Thought that was odd.

I did use my room key to charge the tip. Unfortunately I don't remember now when I checked out if the charge for breakfast was applied to my room.

Wondering if this was a mistake or did Disney just credit my credit card the full amount and then just charge my room 80%?

Hilarious! The same thing happened to us in January. The waiter gave us a credit for 20% for the TiW card, back to the original credit card. But when I checked my statement, we were credited for the WHOLE breakfast. I've waited a few months, but we've never been recharged.

So we also enjoyed CRT breakfast for my family of 4 for free. Best deal ever.

They were clearly 2 separate credits that added up to the total price and we had nothing charged to the resort. We didn't even give our KTTW card.

Thanks. Now that I think of it, I didn't give my room key either. TiW automatically adds the tip to the bill.

I thought tip was included as part of the price? Does using the TIW card change that? I just booked CRT last week for our July trip and will be using the TIW to receive a partial credit. Will they actually charge an automatic 18% tip on top of the price that is suppose to include tip or were you leaving an extra tip?

Yes that's right - the tip would already be in the price - the credit would be 20% of the pre-tip price (which is how it works anyway), whatever that was. We actually did tip our waiter more because he brought my DD an adult meal for no extra charge because she didn't like the kids meal.

We received a credit for $25.19 and then another credit for $139.07 - total $164.26, the exact amount we pre-paid for 3 adults and 1 child for breakfast.
