What Signature Restaurant Would You Choose?

I would like to have one meal at signature restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Which would you suggest?

Last year we ate at Jiko and loved it. This year I booked Yachtsman Steakhouse, but I'm not quite sure. I'm open to anything. What Signature Restaurant Would You Choose?

Are you talking on the dining plan? If so, my favorites are Flying Fish and Citricos.

Not on the dining plan, I'd do V&A as my top choice and second would be either Bistro de Paris or bluezoo. All 3 of these, I'd place above Flying Fish/Citricos.

We dine @ Yachtsmen every year sometimes twice it is our familys favorite signature. Lobster Bisque is fantastic, caesar salad, all steaks, my fav the filet w/ augratin potatoes, those potatoes are the best. Desserts none really stand out.

Narcosses being second, lobster for 2ts is great.

Jiko I want to try next time.

Citricos! We had our wedding reception dinner there and we have been going back every year to celebrate our anniversary. Very romantic. Get spoiled there!

Jiko is my favorite signature, but the rest of the top 5 includes Citricos, Artist Point, Il Mulino, Yachtsman Steakhouse, bluezoo, Flying Fish and Shula's (I know that is more than five). Any of those are well worth a visit.

Jiko is also my favorite signature restaurant but Citricos comes in a close second. It is romantic and feels a little bit more upscale than some of the others and has excellent staff and food.

I say stick with Yachtsman Steakhouse! We had a great meal there on our honeymoon, probably my favorite meal ever at WDW. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and a great location for going to BW, Epcot or DHS after dinner.

We ate at YS last year, the food was wonderful but the service was lousy!!! Over an hour wait to get seated, another 30 minutes to get entrees and I asked for steak sauce twice and never received it.

Maybe it was just an off day, but I won't be going back.

Hands down, California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort. In my opinion, the food and atmosphere are unmatched. Watching Wishes from up there is unforgettable! They have great food (yummy sushi too!) and great drinks, as well as an extensive wine list.

I was hoping to use 2 Dining Plan credits.

Alot of people are suggesting Citricos. To be honest I've never really looked into this restaurant before. Maybe I'll have to give it a good look.

We love Narcoossee's! DH and I went there for our 6th anniversary and the food was excellent. DH had the Whole Maine Lobster and I had the surf and turf, both very really really good. We managed to get ressies about 15min before Wishes, they turn down the lights and play the soundtrack through the restaurant (I know CG does this too) but there is nothing like going outside on the dock and watching them from the lake.

Also have tried Yachtsman's. The food wasn't bad, it wasn't nothing to write home about. DH's porterhouse (really was a t-bone) was supposed to be well done and came out medium rare, next time came out medium well, he just let it be at that point. I wasn't impressed with the onion rolls.

Whatever you decide, have a very happy anniversary!:goodvibes

Ditto!! We adore CA Grill. Citricos would be my 2nd choice!

YSH is a lovely choice, particularly if you are fortunate enough to have Ricardo or Oscar as your server! :teeth:

Another excellent place to have a special meal is Bistro de Paris (upstairs in France). The service there is very good, as is the food.

California Grill is disgusting and ruined a birthday celebration as a result of inedible food and beyond stupid service. We'll not return and I'd never, ever recommend that chaotic zoo as a place for a special meal. :)

BlueZoo is a good choice if you like fish. ::yes:: The interior is pretty neat and lends itself well to intimacy.

In order of our favorites -
Jiko, California Grill, Citricos, Artist Point

Had a terrible experience at Flying Fish - both food and service. Neither were anywhere close to a signature experience.

Haven't tried Yachtsman or Narcoossees.

Flying Fish is amazing. I highly recomend it! Great food, great service and a great atmosphere.
