I was wondering if anyone knows if Les Chefs de France still does the price fix lunch at $20 per person? Is it the same menu currently posted on allears.net. Thanks for the help.

Yes, they do, and it's fabulous! Well worth the $20. My friend & I each got different items & then we split it - so we had a taste of several different items, all were wonderful.

Yes, we were there for lunch on March 14th. We love the lunch! The menu for the prix fixe was the same as it is listed on all ears. I got the french onion soup, the quiche lorraine, and the creme brulee. Everything was wonderful!

I agree with the other posters. The prix fixe at Chef's de France is a great value and very enjoyable. Good food and good atmosphere. Enjoy the french onion soup!

I wanted to ask the same question!! Thanks OP!!

One more question though, does anyone know how long this will last?? We will be there May 14 and we are booked for lunch.

Thanks :goodvibes

isn that the same restaurant as Bistro de Paris?

Does anyone have a photo of the ham & cheese sandwhich? It always sounds like a grilled ham and cheese to me but everyone says it is great. What is different about it and what does it look like?
Thanks!

no, it's not. Les Chefs is a cafe downstairs with a down-home type menu (French down-home, of course)... Les Chefs takes the dining plan, and is relatively lower prices (by Disney standards, lol.)

Bistro is very upscale, it is upstairs and does not take the dining plan. Prices are substantially higher & menu is much more French gourmet choices.

oh nuts - no wonder they didn't have french onion soup

i've made reservations for the wrong restaurand

Bummer! Les Chefs french onion soup is SOOOOO good!

clickdeclick barba trick - i made reservations for Chef - i'll call tomorrow and cancell our Bistro reservation

I do have a photo but it is not in my photobucket account yet. Basically, yes, it is a grilled cheese sandwich. I will say that it was very good though. We were down there in February and did the price fixe lunch - I had the onion soup, grilled cheese and the creme brule (which was huge and the best). My DH had the lobster bisque, mac and cheese and the Profiteroles au chocolat. Everything was wonderful and we shared all (although I had a hard time sharing the creme brule - it was so good).

If I get a picture posted on photobucket I will post it.

the cream puffs (can't remember the french name at the moment - also to die for):

This was one lunch we still talk about & already have planned for our October trip!

Ok, I'm resurrecting this thread to say S-O-L-D! Thanks for the pictures!! My DH and I were just researching the prix fixe menu for lunch and thought it sounded really good! Now that I see it.....YUM!!! Guess we're booking! Anyone know what time they 'cut off' lunch and switch over to dinner?
