Has anyone eaten at Paradiso 37 that can give me some reviews? We are going to WDW in October (2 adults, one of which is spanish). We were originally going to schedule dinner for our arrival night at Bongos, but I have heard more bad reviews than good, including one from a personal friend.

I've only seen one review of Paradiso 37 and that DISer liked it but I was looking for more opinions, if there are any.

TIA!

Loved it - had dinner with friends. Three of the four meals were wonderful- 4th was just good - not great. Drinks were good - there was a singer in the corner - very nice feel to the restaurant - a bit of an adult place - which was nice

We also loved it! We were down near the singer though and it was loud. Our server was great at recommending items and everyone aged 10-42 was happy!

Had lunch there twice and enjoyed both times, The pulled pork is excellent and the beer is as cold as advertised!!

Oh yay!!! :yay: Thank you SOO much! I feel so much better now! If anyone else has reviews, please feel free to post! The more good things I hear, the more excited I get! Of course, negative reviews are also welcome, should there be any!

We ate there once in October and twice in January with different people. We all enjoyed it. It's a nice change from the Disney "same old, same old".

In October, the singer was outside which cut way down on the loudness. I agree if you are seated near him inside it does get just a little loud. But, he is very enjoyable when you are seated out on the deck on a really nice night.

We will definitely be going back.

We were there not once, but twice, on our trip last October. The first night, we shared three appetizer plates, the corn, the steak skewers, and the salsa trio, and had the special margarita/sangria drink, which was cool and refreshing, and really hit the spot! The second time, we just had two apps (steak skewers and corn) and drinks.
I would definitely go back there. =)

We had lunch there twice this past trip and really enjoyed it. I had a shrimp salad that was very good. The chips were great.....thin and served hot.

We checked it out a bit on a previous trip and the music at night is too loud for us. Not the case at lunch. We'll be back.

Hey there, BCV23!:wave2:

Can you tell me about ordering chips at this restaurant? Paying for chips and salsa is NOT the norm in my part of the world--so I was wondering how this works. Is the charge for chips per person or per table? Did the chips keep coming to the table as you ran out?

Thanks!

Hi Belle 5. :flower3: Good to see you.

I know what you mean. It's the norm at most Mexican restaurants here to serve chips gratis. That was not the case when we were there for lunch. Of course, it is not a Mexican restaurant.

We ordered the Mexican Dipping Trio and chips accompanied it. We did ask to substitute salsa for the spinach queso dip the first time and salsa for the chili the second lunch. The dips were all good but small servings. Our first lunch we finished the chips and asked for more which was no problem. The appetizer is probably intended for one person and is a good size for that.

I thought the prices were relatively high but looking at AllEars to refresh my memory about the dips, I saw there is only one menu. If that is the case, the prices are not bad at all for dinner at WDW.

I went with three friends last year and we loved it!

We got four appetizers and split them all - they were great.

The frozen margaritas cannot be beat either.

I've visited Paradisio 37 several times and have enjoyed it every time. The crab and fish fritters are super yummy!
