1 Child and 10 Adults--A GG to Celebrate DD's 4th Bday :) TR Link is Posted

I am so excited—we make ADRs tomorrow morning!! In less than eight hours I will begin to know what we are able to get!!

Things have been so hectic for us lately. I had gone down to campus at the beginning of the month for my graduate school program. It was the last trip that a group of me and three other really great gal friends would be together—on campus that is! We made promises to start traveling once a year to see each other. We are going to start by visiting each other’s hometowns but then move onto other locations—one of which will be Disney. :thumbsup2 We had such a great time!

So after that weekend, I came home sick but I am starting to feel better. It is going to be an ongoing battle and require some lifestyle changes (mainly not eating my beloved bread anymore :scared1:) but I will survive! It is good motivation to work my butt off (literally) losing the last of my fertility treatment weight.

We have been trying to get back in the swing of what resembles a schedule here at home. DH and Lilian have been battling colds, so they are both finally feeling better again too. This is the roughest part of my semester too with projects piled up on each other. Once I get done with March, it will be relatively quiet luckily for me!

We head off to North Carolina in just over a week. I am looking forward to the lovely warm weather! I may have to bust out Lilian’s spring/summer clothes for the trip but I have to check to see what short sleeve shirts in her drawers still fit. She has hit a growing spurt so they may be too tight or short now.

On the Disney Front: I am looking forward to the downtime to begin sewing clothes for Lilian. Right now I have three projects I have bought the materials for but I have one other I want to do as well. I am so excited to begin them! I also want to finish our scrapbook from the first trip. :lmao: It will be done hopefully before we head down on this trip!
We are down to 26 weeks!! :woohoo: We went to see the Princess and the Frog at the theatre this past weekend. We had a great time. It was Lilian’s first movie and she LOVED it!! She asked to see it again. Little does she know she will be getting it in her Easter basket in a few short weeks. :thumbsup2. Here are some pictures I snapped while we were waiting for the movie to begin:

With that kicking it off, we are going to begin our family movie nights. This week’s choice is Alice in Wonderland (the original, animated version). I am sad to say I have not thought of dinner to pair with it yet—it most likely will be a low key affair. That’s ok though, I am not trying to go overly elaborate with them all. If I can figure out something and get it together by then, great. If not we will definitely curl up on the couch and eat popcorn together during the movie. popcorn::

Along with the movies beginning, we will also be doing what I refer to as Disney School. We will be working through the alphabet and numbers among other things. As we do, I will connect whatever letter we are learning about to Disney related items—characters, attractions, food, etc. so she can start learning about all the fabulous things Disney she will encounter on our trip. We will also be discussing the various parks and what makes each special. We will do activities associated with each park (though those are still under development). I think we will do these beginning in August so she really can learn about the parks and hopefully build excitement (though I don’t think we will need help with that ;)). I have a TON of fun Disney cds on my computer but we are heading off to the library to get some more. I am hoping to play them in the van and around the house. We will be using Lilian’s Leapster 2 she got for Christmas much more than we have been so she can do the games on the drive home herself. We also have the Zippity and board games I plan on incorporating as well. I admit I have not had as much time to really think it all through, but I have time! :thumbsup2

We make ADRS tomorrow!!! I am so excited and I just cannot hide it!! :rotfl: (see, it is the second time in this one post I mentioned it!) I will be sure to update to let you all know what we end up getting!!

I cannot have bread anymore so no sandwiches for me since I have not wanted to try any of the gluten free breads yet.

It was a great movie!!

ADRs were made today!! :dancer: Here are the ADRs we ended up with:

Sunday, September 12th:
• Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Dinner Package, 3:50
Monday, September 13th:
• Akershus Princess Storybook Breakfast, 9:15
• Coral Reef, 4:30
Tuesday, September 14th:
• The Plaza Restaurant, 11:05
• 1900 Park Fare, 4:30
Thursday, September 16th:
• Donald’s Safari Breakfast at TH, 8:30
Friday, September 17th:
• Rose and Crown, 7:50

So, we made two changes in the ADR list. We had originally chosen MM Fantasmic Dinner Package, but for both showings the week we are there, there were no times left. I had let A know that if we could not do MM to go ahead and try for H&V, which we got. I would still like to check in to see if we can switch to MM, but I have a feeling there is a slim to no chance of that happening. So H&V it is. :thumbsup2:

You will also notice that Plaza is now on our list. I am happy with that choice believe it or not! :goodvibes: It is one on my list for next time but I asked A to switch our original 12:30 LTT reservation to the Plaza for two reasons: 1) I did not like the time, Tuesday we definitely need to take a break midday before 1900 Park Fare and MNSSHP and 2) it is not the family style meal my Dad originally hoped to have again. I am really excited about it!! Is there anyone reading along on PTR that has eaten there?

Along with ADRs, there were two other reservations to be made today: BBB and the Tea Party. We ended up with:

Tuesday, September 14th: BBB appointment at 8:00
Wednesday, September 15th: Afternoon Tea at GF Garden View Lounge at 2:00

If you might remember, I originally have been planning on doing the My Disney Girl’s Perfectly Princess Tea Party on the 15th. I thought about it and looked at videos on YouTube of it and decided this go around, it was not for us. Lilian can be shy sometimes and I am afraid that she won’t want to join in the experience yet. The food also is not so great considering the cost. I wanted the tea to be our thank you gift to the ladies for spending the money to come to Disney. With those thoughts in mind, I decided we would do the Grand Floridian’s Afternoon Tea in the Garden View Lounge. What about Lilian? She will be with us—she is one of the ladies of course! She will also be getting the My Disney Girl she would have gotten at the MDGPPTP either the morning of her birthday or I will give it to her at the Tea, which is what I am leaning towards at the moment. I can order her the redheaded doll now. :goodvibes:

So there you have it—a few minor adjustments. I have been planning the change from the tea party to the afternoon tea for the last week. The Plaza decision was made today. Overall, I am very happy and pleased with what we ended up with as our final outcome.

What do you all think?

Looks great! I have only heard rave reviews of Akershus and 1900 Park Fare. If Bella was the only child I was traveling with, we would have done them along with CRT. The tea party will be a lot of fun, too! Just think, only 180 more days!!!

I posted this on FB but I would love to see what patterns you have bought. I bought the package on YCMT with the Portrait Peasant, Patchwork Twirl, and Stripwork Jumper, and the Simply Sweet is what I used for the Tiana dress. They are all by Carla C. I am also thinking about getting the A Line and Easy Fits. They rave about all of her patterns on the Disboutiquers thread. And you will have to post pics once you get going!!!
