Favorite place to buy running/sports/fitness stuff?

I hate to shop so I buy most of my stuff online. My favorite site to buy running clothes/accessories/crap-I-probably-don't-need is www.holabirdsports.com. I should probably be part owner in the company now with the amount of stuff I've bought from them . So I was wondering where's your favorite place (online or brick/mortar) to shop for your stuff?

I get my stuff all over. I get a lot of it at Fleet Feet which is my local running store of choice. I also get some from Amazon and Dick's (A local sports superstore, be careful if you look for their website), but usually that is just because I have a gift certificate.

I don't think I've had to buy a tech shirt in years though since a lot of races give them out instead of t-shirts. Some of the races end up being effectively free if you pay a $20 entry fee and get a tech shirt that would most likely cost $20 anyway.

I get my stuff from either UA on line, UA outlet store and PI on line or outlet store.

:rotfl:Thanks. I've already had quite an eyeful this past week looking for a sarong online. I've seen things I didn't even realize men wore (I guess it also included men's string thongs in with my search )!

Is that a hint that I need to do more races? :)

Hmmm...:scratchin I do have an outlet center place close to where I live in VA. I've never thought to check there for a UA store but now that I think about it I know they have a Nike store (and I should probably get there before tourist season starts). Thanks!

I buy running shoes at www.runningwarehouse.com. There are codes available to save 15% (except mizuno and asics). Prices seem pretty good to start with. Holabird seems pretty good too, but I have not purchased from them before.

For other stuff, it varies. Dicks sporting goods, Nike, Reebok, Adidas outlet stores.

Hey for the most part I shop at some local running stores. Road Runner Sports (one of them) has a website http://roadrunnersports.com that I've ordered some stuff off of. I'm also a big fan of Metro Run and Walk and Potomac River Running, all stores in the northern VA area. I also hit up the expos of the major races I do as you can get some pretty good deals there.

More races = more gooder :thumbsup2

HAHAHAHA! Love it!!

ETA: I like shopping at my local Fleet Feet. I have ordered from Joes New Balance Outlet when I was wearing NB sneakers (now I'm in Saucony's).

Someone one this site directed me to Running Warehouse.com and I bought myself and DH running sneakers.Mine were retail $95, got them for $63, his were $120, got then for $40 something.

Delivered right on time too and free returns if necessary. There is a 15% off code for the Disboards.

Lots of sales and some closeouts too, that was my DHs pair.Last years model- but so what it was the same sneakers diff. colors.

Love it!
