Best steak in Disney?

You're going to get quite a variety of response but, from personal experience (between my gf and I), I would put them in this order:

California Grill
Citrico's
Le Cellier
Jiko
Narcoossee's
The Wave
Yachtsman Steakhouse

It really, really depends on who you talk to. You will see the following answers:

Yachtman's Steakhouse
Coral Reef
Le Cellier
Shula's (at the Dolphin, and isn't a Disney restaurant).

Out of those four, I've only been to Le Cellier in Epcot, but I absolutely love it there.

I'm sure you will get a mixed bag of the "best" on here. A lot of people will say the signature restaurants. Our best experience has been at LeCellier. Now, we have never gone to a signature restaurant and probably never will, but we've always had a perfect filet at LeCellier (the worse steak we ever had was at the Brown Derby which I guess is a signature restaurant now that I think about it...but that was seven years ago and the whole experience was awful that we've not gone back).

I don't eat a lot of steak at WDW but have to pipe in w/ a vote for Jiko's filet mignon :wizard:

If "variety" of choice means anything, it would be Shulas and Yachtsman Steakhouse. And the steak is very good at each.

But each of the signature restaurants has one pretty good steak available. I can vouch for the NY Strip at Flying Fish (my favorite), the Filet at Citricos, and the Filet at California Grill. Along with the Mac and Cheese FIlet at JIKO.

The best and my favorite steak anywhere at WDW is the NY strip at the Flying Fish. It is insanely good.

Next, would be Yachtsman Steakhouse. We eat there the first night of every trip-excellent food and service. I have never tried Shulas, but if it's similar to Ruth Chris, I'm sure it's very good.

Shulas has the best steak on WDW property, but it is not on the DDP. It is also not a "child friendly" restaurant so it's the place to eat if you're looking for a more adult meal.

I totally agree! DH had an excellent mushroom filet at Il Mulino a few weeks ago:

My vote is for the Mushroom Filet at Le Cellier. Meat isn't the best filet I've had (I've had more tender steaks at Artist Point, California Grill, and Citricos), but the sides (mushroom risotto and the wonderful sauce) make it the best I've had at Disney.

I really enjoyed my mushroom filet at Le Cellier, and my hubby says the steak he had there was the best he's ever had.

We have heard AMAZING things about the oak-fired filet at CA Grill, and we are trying that this year (in a little less than 2 weeks. so excited!). I will post my thoughts on here about the steak at California Grill when we come home!

That would be great!

I agree, it's fabulous!
Shula's is also fantastic but as another poster noted, not the best place for young children.

I'LL second Kona . Dont know why but i can remember the flavor of that steak after 5yrs.

If you want the absolute best steak on WDW you would have to order the Japanese Wagyu upgrade to the meal at Victoria and Albert's! It is only an extra $80.00.
