Refillable Mug Question

I'm not trying to start a debate, but I have a question regarding what counts as "length of stay."

I have a split stay coming up this year. I'll be in Disney, then checking-out of the resort, leaving for a couple days at Universal, and then going back to Disney again.

Would it be wrong to use the same mug for both parts of the trip? Does anyone know what Disney's policy is for split stays regarding the mugs? Because I really don't want to have to buy two mugs each trip.

Wow, good one! Are you returning to the same Disney resort after Universal? If it were me, and I DO purchase new mugs every year, I certainly wouldn't buy another one especially if I was going back to the same resort. I'd just consider the time at Universal as an interruption in the length of stay.

I certainly wouldn't buy a new mug for a split stay. I'm staying at BWV, then over to BLT and then off to Music this summer. There is no way I'm buying three mugs for each resort. Nope, not happening. We'll buy one each and then go from there...using the same mug at each of those three resorts.

I did a split stay one year and bought a mug at the first place. I asked the CM about using it when I moved over to the Poly, and she said to keep the receipt and just show that if questioned (or if I just wanted to validate myself.) I just kept it in my trusty fanny pack. It has been several years however, so maybe things have changed...

Does anyone know if there will be a new mug design this year? We are on Deluxe dining and get three mugs!

The only difference for the 2010 mug compared to 2009 is the mug's neck goes straight down, making it more difficult to put the mug in a cup holder. But the same Celebrate Graphics

Are you sure that there's a new one for 2010? We were there twice last year, in May and again in November, and the mug was changed from one visit to the next. The first one had the red at the top and tapered down to white, the second one had the red all the way down. I don't believe that another one has come out yet for this year....they're still using last year's 2nd version as far as I know.

Don't know. We're on the QSDP and get 4 mugs!
