Hey there DIS Board friends. Pretty new to the boards and was wondering if DW and I were to purchase the Quick Service Dining Plan, what would you recommend for a CS meal for breakfast and where? We would like something more than a muffin, popcorn, etc. (snack). Thanks for any and all help.:thumbsup2

In Downtown Disney, our favorite counter service ANYWHERE is Wolfgang Pucks- it isnear the Christmas shop and the Candy Store...

Depends on where you are staying but at the Contemporary, they have a breakfast sandwich. I can't remember what it was called but it had scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese on it. My DS13 really liked that a lot, along with a bottle of orange juice. It was really big, too.

At any resort food court they have a large breakfast platter, eggs, meat, potatoes, ect and it comes with juice and another drink with the DP( coffee, coke or bottled water we get the refillable mug so we opt for the bottled water which saves about 3$ person.) If neither of you are big eaters you can share it. To make your credits go farther. Check out the menus. We like Earl of Sandwich at DTD for CS for any meal.

Not every Resort has a Food Court... I think all the Values (Posters...correct me here) and maybe 1 of the Moderates...

As PP's mention... it's important to let us know which Resort you are staying at...as it doesn't make sense (IMHO) to travel to another resort for a CS Breakfast.... (Unless the Resorts are Side by Side ...as in the case with BC...walking to a CS at Captains Grille at YC).....

I recommend a Light Breakfast in the Room....then plan a CS/TS Lunch....

By Trial and Error...I realized early on...that leaving with the kids on empty stomachs was a problem waiting to happen. SO we pack Cereal Bars, Muffins, Grits, Oatmeal, etc. EVEN if we had a TS Breakfast planned...we never left unless everyone had SOMEthing....

There is a limited CS breakfast at Sunshine Seasons / Epcot.

Hope that helps!

Another vote for Main Street Bakery.

Every resort does have a CS option, and I believe all the resort CS are open for breakfast, but like a PP said, it really doesn't make sense to go to other resorts for breakfast, unless they're right next to each other. Which would be the monorail resorts, and then the Epcot resorts.
