Captain Jacks? I need DTD Suggestions

We wanted to go to DTD in one evening during our trip and we wanted a good TS meal. We considered going to SSR's TS and taking the boat over but, instead, I booked Captain Jacks. I can't find any reviews on this and I am nervous about this one. Can anyone (1) tell me about Captain Jacks and/or (2) give suggestions for dining near or at DTD. We were going to do Kouzinna's but the trip may be longer than we wanted between traveling from WL to BW and then BW to DTD. We also considered Sanaa but, for the same reasons, chose a DTD resturant. TIA for your suggestions.

I personally do not like Capt-N-Jack. I would rather go to Wolfgang Puck Cafe or Raglan Road. It is just my opinion about these restaurants. The decision is yours.

We do not care for Cap'n Jack's. The menu is limited and in our opinion overpriced for what you get.

We do like SSR Turf Club a lot.

We have been to Captain Jacks and thought it was OK. I probably would not go back there, but I didn't hate it. If you are looking for table service on the DDP, I also recommend Turf Club at SSR. If you are not on the DDP, we love Rainforest Cafe at DDD.

We didn't care for the menu. We had a lunch there 2 years ago. Service was fine. The restaurant's location was nice for being next to the water. The food was not that great, but if you're on DDP, you can order a non-alcoholic drink on the plan. Raglan Road has a pretty good menu choice. Depending when your mealtime is at Raglan Rd, there's live entertainment in the restaurant.

I adore Raglan Road. If you want live music, get a ADR for after 8 (or 8:30, I forget which).

We were at Cap-n-Jacks last year April. It was okay. The children's menu was sadly lacking in any seafood and the adult items were good but pricey. I could get better clam chowder here in NY!

As everyone else said Cap'n Jacks is OK at best. There are much better alternatives at DTD.

I must say that in all our Families trips to WDW (29 total) Captain Jack's is the only Disney restaurant that I can say was just awful. Usually Disney has excellent food and atmosphere. Not Captain Jack's, menu is awful and food was tolerable at best. My / Our suggestion, spen a little extra and go to Fulton Crab House, you will not be disappointed.

Cancel the Capt Jack and make one for Wolfgang Puck Cafe. You'll be glad you did!

Our new favorite DTD restaurant is Paradiso 37.

We tried it for the first time on our last trip and really enjoyed it! They serve Mexican, South American and American cuisine. The service was very good and it was very reasonable. We plan to return on our trip next month again. For a full review, check out my website at the end of this post. It is located on the PI section of DTD in between the Marketplace and Westside.

HOB is also another good one. WP was on our favorite list until our last visit because the service was horrendous. (we watched a few tables actually get up and leave??-hope it was just a fluke-but we'll be taking a break after that experience and heading back to Paradiso 37).

Thanks for the help thus far. We are seriously considering changing this one. We've dined at Wolfgang Pucks Express when you could get the exact meal as the cafe but they changed last year and we couldn't get the ribs at the express any longer. Though we were looking for something different, we may end up with WPC. We do love their food and the dessert selection is wonderful. Keep those reviews coming.

We liked Raglan Road. We would go again just for the scallops.

The atmosphere was fun and our kids loved the music and Irish dancer. It is also on the DDP.
