Hello fellow cruisers....my DWand I are cruising in Sept on the WB transatlantic...we took the air through Disney....it was $930 each with transfers included. We are flying from NY to Spain and then cruising back....then MCO to NY.....we also checked the transatlantic in 2011 for the same cruise....the air is over $1600 per person....wondering if they made a mistake for this September? Anyone else us Disney for the air portion of September 2010 transatlantic? Is your airfare comparable to what we paid and why would it be so much more for 2011?
Thanks for your insight.

I am on the EB TA this April and I paid close to what you paid. I couldn't decide between EB or WB. The airfare made the difference. The WB used to be about what is posted for the 2011 WB. Then I saw some time ago that it came down. Hope it comes down for the 2011. I don't understand why one way is twice as expensive as going the other way.

There was a glitch in the system for the cruises if you booked them within the first few days with DCL... several people got the glitched airfare and Disney honored it.

I think that $930 was a correct price, not a glitch price. That's what we got, and we didn't book right after the dates came out. It was actually $930 + an amount of tax that showed up in the taxes and fees line. I booked the DCL air initially knowing that I could cancel it if I found something better on my own.

I was ultimately able to book my trans-Atlantic flight for $475 total. That, + $65 for transfers + $77 for the MCO flight added up to quite a savings.

Hey were on this cruise too. Have you popped by the cruise meet thread to say hi?

We'd also gotten the same quote or thereabouts for air from/to Washington Dulles for the WBTA this September. We've since dropped it since we got our air during the US Air sale in January for $401 to BCN (still need to book flight home from MCO). We're staying at a hotel with 10 or 5 euro/per person shuttle to port and free shuttle from airport, so our transfers are pretty cheap as well.
