Taking snacks to the shows??

Many people do, as long as it doesn't disturb others, it should be fine.

I have seen a lot of people bring in soda from deck 9, and small snacks, however often in main dinner you have just eaten and there shouldn't really be any need at all.

Oh yeah - Got to sail with the Dollar Tree $1 boxes of Junior Mints and Mike & Ike's for the movies! I just can't bring myself to pay what they charge outside the theatre for candy ... Now if they had hot, buttered popcorn, then that would be another story. But I guess it would make too much of a mess ...

In the theater, there seemed to be no restrictions on food. As far as drink goes, I actually carried a drink from Diversions (after being told that I could take the drink anywhere on the boat) into the theater which I felt sheepish about until I realized that there was seat-side drink service!

I always bring a few boxes of "movie theatre candy" on our cruises....wait for a sale a the supermarket. We usually go the the late movie and I love having my favorite candy with me (good and plenty and/or any chocolate bar)


I also have brought the 30 piece box of candybars from Costco on our cruise (when we had a large group).

They don't seem to have any problem with you bringing snacks and drinks into the Walt Disney Theatre, but they do NOT want you to bring food in.

We were on the Magic at the end of January and I was walking into the Walt Disney Theatre with about one half plate full of what was left over from the Cheese and Cracker plate we ordered from room service. I was stopped at the entrance to the Theatre by a CM who said "I'm sorry but we consider that food and you cannot bring that inside". I just stopped, ate a couple of the best things on the plate quick and threw the rest away.

They sell popcorn (cold, in bags) outside the movie theater. It's not like what you get at Cinemax! If they consider it a "snack," it's fine. If they consider it "food," they ask you to finish it before entering. In December, you were allowed to take pizza into the BV theater

How confusing! Cheese and crackers are food but pizza is a snack! It's good to know! Thanks for all the advice!

When I went to the BV Theatre I always brought either pizza or cheese fries in with me to snack on while watching a movie, but I don't think that is allowed in the WD Theatre.

We have taken the cheese and cracker plate from roomservice too!! I have also taken chicken fingers to the "movie theater" I already paid for all the food I plan to eat before setting sail!

We brought hot french fries in from Pluto's dog house. Delicious, and no picking hulls out of your teeth afterwards.

The only thing I would want is freshly popped popcorn. I always miss popcorn when cruising. The cold stuff in a bag just doesn't cut it for me.

My Dad just got off a Princess cruise and they had Movies under the stars nights....hot chocolate, warm chocolate chip cookies and fresh popcorn....all you wanted during the movie.
