I just booked a studio villa at BC for this upcoming July. We are very excited! We have never been to BC so anything you can tell me about it and that general area would be great!

We stayed at BC a few years ago in Sept and had a wonderful time. Here is what I remember in no particular order.
The pool, Stormalong Bay, is INCREDIBLE and hands down the best in WDW. Sand bottomed in parts it has just about every amenitie you could want including a hude waterslide and a whirlpool.
The rooms were a nice size, inviting and comfortable and mousekeeping was great. I had breakfast at a buffet at the attached YC that was delicious but I forget what restaurant. Had a delicious but pricy dinner at the Yaughtsman.
Had no trouble with transportation. Trips to MK and Epcot were fast and I loved walking through the international gateway to get to epcot. The boat to DHS was also fast.
I loved it. You are going to have a GREAT TIME:goodvibes

BC is our favorite resort!

Of course SAB can't be beat. Beaches and Cream is a cute "soda shop" style restaurant that my kids love. Hurricane Hannah's is the quick service by the pool with fabulous cheeseburgers. Beach Club Marketplace has my dd's favorite sandwich - the turkey with mozzarella and they fabulous gelato!

It is so nice to be able to walk over to EPCOT, especially for dinner.

My kids love the campfire/smores roast on the beach and then watching the movie. They also have tons of kids activiites by the pool in the afternoon.

You can't go wrong with the BC!

Make sure to stop by the lobby and say Hi to Teena the Greeter, who is also one of our very own Dissers!

Elastigirlfan, we are going to be driving to the Beach Club from Connecticut in July. So we'll be very excited also. What I love about the Beach Club (Since I've been there at least 4 times) is the location of the parks and the ability to walk to my dining reservations in the Epcot area and the Boardwalk area. It really takes the stress out of driving to another resort for dinner or taking a bus downtown to eat. Not that we don't do this because we do, but not having to is really nice when you're very tired at the end of the day.
It's definitely a lively resort and the resort feels like something out of an old time movie from a different era. It is my favorite resort. We love walking the Boardwalk at night, watching the entertainment there, grabbing a bench somewhere and watching the fireworks, and walking the countries at night just because we can. And one more great point, because there is so much walking not a weight gain from all the food we ate. It's the only resort that I don't gain weight because there is so much walking to do. I do try to walk at least two miles in the morning on the Boardwalk before I start my day, which is beautiful and relaxing to me. Then I head down to the Marketplace and the coffee is free before 6:30 AM. You will truly fall in love with this resort I'm wishing you a fantastic time. And just soak it all up. Have fun:wizard:

We'll be driving to BC from NJ in July! We'll be at BC July 18-August 2. We actually plan to get into Orlando the afternoon of the 17th but we usually stay at the Buena Vista Palace that night and rest up. We check into BC early enough to have breakfast in the club lounge!

Awesome! We love the buzz of the Epcot resorts.
We'll be at wdw in July too,at the Dolphin!:goofy:

Hey DisneyMomx7

How funny we will be arriving July 18th through the 30th, we are also staying at club level. So far my experience with IPO has been fantastic. So looking forward to this trip. So I will probably see you at some point in the lounge, I'll be the fortyish women with the two 6 foot teenage boys So feel free to say hi, my parents are coming with us celebrating their 45th anniversary, here is a little visual so you know who you are saying hi to. You are really going to enjoy the Beach Club. I believe my son's best friends parents will also be at the Beach Club the same time. Should be fun for all. Have a safe trip down

I'm the one driving from NJ! July 18-August 2! It will just be me, DH 2 dds (11 and 12) and ds (9). We did a grand gathering at BC CL in 2008 and it was fabulous.

I think BC IPO is wonderful. We've used them before and they always come through. BC is our favorite resort and our favorite cms! Hope to run into in the lounge. I'll probably be the one separating the kids as they tend to bicker!

I tried to edit my post before any one read it. I had put the wrong name by mistake, sorry about that, my bad. Again safe trip, see every one down at the Beach Club in July :thumbsup2
