If I Cancel My Room Ressie, Do I Lose Dining too?!

We are canceling our room reservation at ASMu and are upgrading to AKLV through the DIS. My ADRs are linked to my room reservation. When I cancel my room, will I lose all my ADRs as well?

Yes, this is still correct. I canceled my room ressie and nothing happened to my ADRs.

If you are unsure call Disney and ask. I would imagine as long as you have all those confirmation #s from your ADRs you should be ok.

People who stay off site can make ADRs so there is no reason to cancel your ADR just because you cancelled you room. They ask if you're staying on site so that when you check in they can also confirm all of your ADRs at the desk.

Your ADRs will be fine. We had to cancel a cash reservation (as we ended up buying into DVC so will be staying on points instead). I was worried that my ADRs were also cancelled, so I went online and inputted each and every confirmation number, and they were all still there.

Last May I had to cancel a trip because we were moving at the same time. When the CM found out why I was cancelling the trip, she offered to cancel my ADRs for me, so I think that unless they ask if you would like them to do this, they would have no reason to start messing with dining ressies.

Call me stupid if you like....but where on earth do they hide the dining reservations online ??? I just called to cancel a resort reservation (booked a better deal for the same time instead) - but when I look at my info online, I just cannot figure out where the dining reservations are ? I though I was smart, but....beginning to wonder

Thanks !! I knew it had to be there somewhere - but the website and my computer were conspiring against me - when I moused over "My Disney Vacation", only the top half of the menu was visible - and when I moved the mouse down, the menu disappeared ! I used a different computer - and all is well - my smarts are restored - thanks !
