Question - Resort Guests

My wife and I are staying at the Poly in May. We have a friend that lives in FL that would like to come spend a day or two with us. Since it will just be the two of us, are we allowed to have an overnight guest? Any process to follow to make sure it is legit? :confused3

Thanks in advance... :goodvibes

Call the Poly and ask them. I think there's an extra charge for 3rd and 4th adults staying in a room.

When you arrive - or the day that your guest arrives go to the desk and tell them. At that time they will issue her a key card and may or may not charge the extra adult fee.

They cannot add a person on in advance for only part of the trip.

My inlaws stayed a few days with us at the Poly last year and had problem getting a parking pass.

My MIL showed up for a few nights at the BC. They gave hera room kiey and parking permit - and they didn't even charge us the $15!

Thanks to all! I am hoping that the fact that the first week of May is a lighter week will also allow her to get a parking pass. I don't mind paying for her stay in our room, but it would stink if we had to look for other parking options...

Thanks - will they also give her a parking pass?

When you check in they will ask if you need a parking permit....say yes. It is not attached to any certain vehicle. It is attached to your ressie. Your friend can use it without any issues.

Thanks, but we are driving. Can I ask for two?

I don't know if they will give you another one right from the get go. You could 'lose' your permit and need another one. :rotfl: I'm sure they will give you another one when you check in your friend.

My MIL is coming with us for 3 nights and 4 days and they made us pay for her the whole time we are staying there AND tickets+park hopper for the whole time, even though she is leaving halfway through the week. :confused3

ETA: We asked if we could just get park tickets + hopper for us and she gets her tickets separately, but they said no :(

That's because putting her on the reservation at the time of booking requires everyone in the same room to be on the same package..

UNLESS - they are added to the reservation at check-in - then different rules apply.

Yeah, I gathered that from another post in the resorts forum. Thanks for confirming. We have a full package deal, which is why we did not add her when we booked.

Thanks to everyone for the help! :thumbsup2

Oh wow. I wonder if it's too late to undo her and add her on once we get there?

Thanks!
