What a PITA will you try another one or just give up?

She is 90 today and :rotfl2:

Oh no, is this normal?

Fantastic and WTG Judy can she come and do mine? :rotfl2:

Just spoke with Em who spent last week in Florida, they originally were just going for the sun and swimming but it was chilly so they spent 2 days at Sea World and 4 at WDW. She then says they're going back in October and want to stay onsite, so which weeks in October are quiet? What holidays do you have around then? Also because the boys HAVE to be in bed by 7pm they want either a 1 bed or 2 rooms but Joe wants to stay at the GF :rotfl2:

Jo in October is Colunbus Day weekend which is Monday October 11th so that weekend would be busy and then avoid the very end due to Halloween !! I hear the first week in November is VERY good too!!!

Jo I would tell Em to avoid the week of Columbus day. Excapt for halloween Night, I hear the crowds are pretty good in October. I'm guessing if they want the kids in bed by 7:00 they won't be doing the Halloween Party or anything like that:confused3

Down to 7 loads of laundry left:thumbsup2

Hi there!

Just popping in so I can keep up.

CEL BEL is having car trouble-again.
I hope it didn’t cost you that much.

MO is waiting for more snow.
So are we. It’s been a beautiful mix of rain, slush, snow and ice in the last 20 hrs. YUK!

ROSIE is working on her TR. Pics of Kyle’s B-day, post #3681. Her laptop is working again. She says that her friend’s baby, Bree is out of the hospital and on antibiotics.

Kyle’s birthday looked like loads of fun. Love the cake!
I am so happy for the family of Bree. I’ll keep sending prayers.

LORI still has a head cold. There is a cute picture of Lindsey at post #3680.

Linds is too cute!
Shutter Island is about 2 US Marshals attempt to figure out what happened to an inmate/patient in an institution for the criminally insane.

KAT is trying to get their apartment back together after the exterminator got done. They will have to do it again it 2 weeks. They have a neighbor who works for the housing authority above them. She is going to have the whole building investigated.
Karma! I’m just hoping that the bedbugs stay away this time.

DAWN and family are dealing with the dance competitions. She will be leaving March 10th for WDW. They are staying at POR for 5 nights then moving to BLT!
It sounds like a wonderful trip is in store. You’ll probably need it.

CE was doing the pre-trip scramble. She had to thwart a migraine. And then she was off to their vacation in the snow.

FLO said that the week went well with the kids. Fun Junction was $$$ junction but the kids had a great time. She and Rob like Shutter Island. They had an awesome dinner too. They went out again to celebrate the MIL’s B-day last night. She didn’t get to ‘get down’ with the Wii because the dance game she bought wouldn’t work.

Bummer about the Wii! Glad you had a great week!

JANET has had cubs and tigers at her house.

Sounds like it went OK. Fun Junction sounds kinda like Dave and Buster’s. Do you have one of those around there Janet?

T popped in. She said something about G-Force.
Is that the guinea pig movie? We saw it. It was cute but not exceptional. But hey, I’m 4* years old. How’s the cookies?????

MrsKS and Bill got a refund check for some of his schooling that he got to opt out of because he is so smart. They got a fancy touch screen remote for the TV so that Bill can access the TV easier. They also got a new desk. Bill is boosting exposure for the organization that he manages. And……They are going to WDW in May to celebrate his gradutation - 3.84 GPA!!!!!
Windfalls of $$$$ are so nice. I am so happy for Bill! He is definitely a testament to strength and perseverance. Congrats to you and him!!!

HEDY went to see Lion King with her nephews and mom. The souvenirs stand reminded her of AK.
Too funny!

JO said her nanna had a wonderful B-day party. 30 people were there. She was very surprised! Jo says that staying with her mom and her mom’s partner was not fun. Once or twice a year is enough.
That is so special for your nanny! I’m glad she had a good time. Too bad about your living arrangements. Let Em know that the IP-DIPS will be around on the weekend of the 23rd! I agree with everyone else: Columbus day and Halloween are the 2 times to avoid.

All is well here in Hoosierville!

Gotta get ready for work!

:hug::hug:

Happy Sunday Fockers, just spent the afternoon reading trip reports, haven't been over there in ages. I think I found all current Focker reports, if not let me know.

Not doing much the rest of the day.

Just realized why I was hungry, almost dinner time.

Ok, se ya later, off to get something to eat

Happy Sunday all!

Holy Lazy weekend. we have been relaxing and doing a lot of nothing (KC is working from home but thats fairly easy). We watched Daybreakers and Pineapple Express and caught up on the DVR-ed shows. I made some roasted chicken and sausages last night that should last several days so I don't have to cook.

We are finally selling the laptop today, the buyer should be here momentarily. Thats a nice $70 in our pockets!

Not much else going on this week, just job hunting as much as I can and on Tues going to buy 2 books that come out: Black Magic Sanction (#8 Rachel Morgan Series) by Kim Harrison and Here Comes The Vampire (#5 in Dead End Dating Series) by Kimberly Raye. Gonna use the gift card we got for our anniversary.

I had a funny dream last night...I dreamt that I went to WDW with Tracy(MrsK) & Bill! we all went on some weird roller coaster/sled thing and had a blast! I woke up giggling.

Anyways off to watch some more tv and chill o
ut.

I'm still working on mine from May. :rolleyes1

Well my week of midterms is upon me! Tomorrow is Sociology and Tuesday is Anatomy. I doubt I will get much studying done tonight as the big hockey game is on, Canada vs USA!

Morning All!!! Just home from work and can't go to sleep right away !!! Need to get some sleep though ready for my interview !!!!!

The major holiday in October is Columbus Day. It is a school holiday in a lot of places. This year it is Monday October 11th. I went that weekend in 08 and didn't find the crowds to be excessive. It did get busier over the weekend but I don't think we waited over a 1/2 hour for anything other than TSM. The weather can still be quite warm. It is a great time to visit and see all of the Halloween decorations and then there is also Food and Wine in EPCOT. I am hoping for a quick trip myself depending on the cost to repair my roof from all of the snow we have had.
Great, thanks :thumbsup2

I started a PTR/TR... :surfweb: The link is in my siggie. :thumbsup2
Already read and posted, read and posted, read and posted :rotfl:

Interview???? What for? The escort to WDW job? Good luck :goodvibes

Just been to the Dr for the results of my hearing test and it was fine so obviously I just choose to ignore my family when they talk to me :rotfl2: We're now off to the vets for Boo's second lot of shots and to book her in for her op. D didn't realise she'd have to be cut open, errrr how else do you think they'd do it it's not like she's a boy and it's all on the outside :rotfl2: We were going to golf later but it's pouring :sad2:

Good morning!
I had quotes but the iPod hates them apparently. It killed them!

Thanks for the support on my eye.
Kristel: Sorry about Doug's troubles. I hope he sails thru!
Hi to everyone!

I can't wait to leave for Disney. We're home for a snow day today.
I love the snow but I'm sick of winter! Lol!
Everyone's fine here. The boys are doing really well in
school so I'm pleased about that. Especially since we are taking
them out for 6 days to go to WDW!

So, how are you guys?

Mel

Unless they can prove a new game will work, then I'm just returning it.

We've been to WDW in October. Beautiful and F&W Fest. We went during Columbus Day week and it was fine. If you're used to the summer crowds, this is nothing baby. What I didn't like about Oct is that parks close earlier, except Epcot, so that gets even more jammed, especially with F&W.

:lmao: My hearing is pretty sensitive. I'm constantly telling everyone to turn down the TV or shhh. :upsidedow

*****************

Kids are back in school. I've started my work and popped over here to catch up. Now off to a shower and maybe grocery shopping. They have a nice buffet cafe at our grocery store and sometimes I meet Rob there for lunch before I shop.

I've been busy with my company and when they left I had to catch up on household things. They will be back this afternoon so I don't know when I'll be back. You will be missed though. :goodvibes

Good Morning all. Quick check in. Crazy at work and I have leave at 3:00 becasue Jimmy has an OT appointment.

Tomorrow I am off because I am helping count the money for the Spring Candy Fundraiser. Then I have to return the cable boxes to Comcast (or they are going to charge us $500/box :faint:) and pick up Jimmy's perscription from the pharmacy, so it is not going to be a relaxing vacation day.

Hope you are all having a lovely Monday!:goodvibes

I am soooo sick of winter, but I know you have it worse out there! Spring can't come fast enough for me, and I need me a WDW fix!

I've been busy with my company and when they left I had to catch up on household things. They will be back this afternoon so I don't know when I'll be back. You will be missed though. :goodvibes

WOW!!! I am about to cancel the non basic cable soon, it's going to bring the bill down about $40 a month, which should make a big difference.

Sounds great Rosie!

Today is my catch up day. I am going to blog and read TR's and generally waste away the day online. ;) The house is clean and nothing is really going on today so I am taking the time to get everything online done.

We finally sold the laptop yesterday!!! I made biscotti (it's a SUPER easy recipe from a cake mix, if anyone wants) and tonight is meatloaf night.

Tomorrow I am going to spend the day out in the city and buy my books, read, hopefully apply at a few places and then in the evening KC & I are going to a lamp making workshop. It's a techie thing, but he invited me and seemed to really want me to go, so I'm in.

thats about it from me. :wave2:

So what can you guys tell me about Boston???

We are staying at the Sheraton Boston, thats where the convention is.

I wanna know places to go and esp good food to eat?!

1.. If you like art the MFA is nice. There is also some geeky stuff at the Science museum. You might want to check out the "Freedom trail"-walking, but you can see Paul Revere's house, the site of the Boston Massacre, historic stuff like that. Alternately, if you take a duck tour, you can see a lot of the historic city and the Charles river.
2. Finale's probably my favorite restaurant in Boston. Henrietta's table in Cambridge is nice as well.
