We received a pin for Disneys Quick Service with a regular price package. I checked Values and I am getting for 3 adults (me. dh, and 21 year old ds) $1596.00 for 5 nights March 15-20. Is that a good deal?

We usually stay at Mods but I can't get any to come up for this deal. Will 3 adults be comfortable at POP? Help I am really unsure about this? THANKS!:grouphug:

this is the first pin that people are getting that will actually save me money...im upset! i want one.....with the gc offer my package is at $2835 with a $300 card....free qs would get me down to $2135 total!. i want that pin!!!

I have never stayed at a value resort but do read the threads on this board pretty good. I personally can't see 3 adults in a value size room. have you thought about renting DVC points? QS - I jsut think that is so limiting. Don't you think you might want to sit down at a TS? I know if it were me I would feel "guilty" wasting those QS credits and don't think I would do TS knowing I could eat "free". Could you do the promotion that gives you a gift card at check in and you could use that as you please...But in reality the discount is a good one with 3 adults...But I don't think I could do just QS all week or stay in a value..check out www.allearsnet.com - they list square footage for each room, that might help you a bit in visualizing..Or what about the BIGGER rooms at the Pop?

We've stayed with 2 adults and 2 teens at Pop and it was fine. It sounds like it would be a good deal for you. Did you price it out vs. the room only code + any food you might eat? Compare the prices and you should be able to see if its a good deal or not.

The question about 3 adults being comfortable depends on the 3 of you! Will you be in the room much? If you are only going to be there to sleep then you'll be fine. However, if you guys like to spend alot of time in the room then it might get a bit crowded. We go with 2 children who are hyper and we stay at value. BUT, we are always in the parks and only use the room to sleep and shower! So, it depends on what you guys are planning~!

I got this pin today. It says 4 nights, 5 days. My package is 7 nights. How is the pin applied. Do I only get it for 4 nights and I pay for 3?

Really!!!!??? Free Dining in March!!!!
Where have I been hiding :)

We stayed at POP last Dec. and had the DDP free. It was a HUGE value for us. Rack rate room, but the food was included!

Have FUN!

4 nights, 5 days is probably the minimum length of stay required to use the PIN. A longer trip would be covered with the PIN but not a shorter trip.

I also commented on your other thread about the room... should be fine, we handled 3 adults at Pop in 2006, no problem.

A pp here didn't see the value in the QSDP, but we used it with great success last summer! Even going strong in the parks every day, we did fine with the 2 CS meals per day. We never went hungry, got snacks when we wanted, and still had some SC left over to spend on goodies to bring home!

We did supplement with flavored-powder packets to add to bottled water (which can easily be refilled at water fountains, or get a cup of water free of charge from any CS location). Just made it easier to stay hydrated without using a SC for a drink, and eliminated the odd taste of the local water.

Not counting DNephew's preference for pizza whenever possible :upsidedow , we ate a great variety of foods, due to having reviewed all the menus to know ahead of time what we'd like.

So don't worry about the QSDP, and enjoy your trip!! :thumbsup2

If you were going to go at the time anyway then its a good deal. You could alway have 1 or 2 sit down dinners OOP :) I got the pin but am holding out for Free dining (Aug/Sept) Im hoping they dont offer only QS for values...Good luck and have a great trip!

So would you give up the $300.00 gift card? I recieved the quick service pin yesterday but it is my understanding I can't do both. I am not sure if it is a better deal. This pin stuff is so confusing to me!!!

When I priced it out for our family it was $1511.00 for a standard room at POP. That includes 5 nights/QSD/5 day tickets for 3 adults.

The gift card package was exactly the same price $1511.00 no dining included but you got the $300 gift card. In my opinion the free dining would cost me MUCH more for the 3 adults than the $300 gift card value.

So, to me the free dining is a much better value. Just my opinion though...;)

I think it depends on the size of your family. I would love to get this pin. I have looked at the deal with $300 and it was alright. However, with us being a family of 4 (all adult prices) it would be a much better deal for us. We have family going with us that are staying 5 nights and they are a party of 2 so I don't think there is much difference in the 2 specials. Try to price it out and decided which is better for your party.

The cost for 3 adults, 5 nights of QSDP is approx. $480 so you're better off with this than with the $300 gift card.

We did the QSDP for an 8 day trip last spring and again for a 4 day trip in November and we really like it! You can always book a TS dinner or lunch or two if you want to. :) As far as people saying that they couldn't do QSDP for a week, if you do some research ahead of time you can have some very nice meals at every park and DTD without resorting to burgers or hot dogs.

I'd LOVE to get that pin for next November's trip, we'll have 3 adults and a 10 year old "adult" going.

We have stayed a few times at Pop, and we both liked it. We always just have two adults in a room. But I don't see that three would be that bad. For a value resort I think it is really nice and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Lots of times the marketing example is 2 adults and 2 children for 4 nights/5 days. Or something to that effect. It's really just an example. Most likely you can stay between 1 and 14 nights with that promotion applying.

Did you already have reservations when you got this pin????? My mom made our reservations for 2 rooms, but seperate/attached ressies and I've told her to watch her email. We then called Disney and they switched my ressies over to my email so that I can make modifications, get the luggage tags mailed to me etc.

Right now we have discounted room at the Pop with 9 day park hopper and qsdp for both rooms. I figured it out and for my room with my 2 girls we'd save $330 with the free QSDP and regular room rate.

We got this pin today, too. I'm hoping they extend it for later parts of the year.
