I know that in the past you could get free dining w/ a one day ticket purchase. Based on bouncebacks, UK, pins, etc ... do you think it looks like it will be that way this year, too? Or will you have to purchase length of stay. I know free dining is just speculation but I'm curious as to what the offers have been so far and what people think:goodvibes

Of course I don't know any more than you do but I bet it will be the same as it usually is, don't see any reason why they'd change that now. UK free dining had different requirements last year too. Actually it sounds like this year UK can get free dining AND up to 48% off Old Key West and Saratoga Springs, so that is actually BETTER. :)

At this point no one knows of course. I would like to think that one day passes will be all that's required. The only thing that concerns me is that the last discount offered (the gift card deal) required length of stay passes. WDW has also already announced that there will fewer discounts for this year, than waas offered for previous years, as they seem to think the economy is improving and they may not need to offer the discounts.lol The other thing that concerns me is that the people who received a free dining pin were offered just the counter service plan for the values and the offer for the UK was for counter service at the moderates, basic DDP at the deluxes, and nothing for people staying at the values.

Saying all of that, I was lucky enough to get the free dining bounceback for CBR when I was there last fall. It was for the basic DDP at all level of resorts and only a one day ticket was required. However, now it looks like I may be canceling that trip because my husband wants to go in Oct instead, for the F&W Festival.:rolleyes1:rotfl: Too bad I can't give it to someone else now.:rotfl:

Last year for for the Gift card you could just buy a one day this year you needed length of stay.

The other twist will probably be only quick service at Values and regular dining at Mods and Deluxe.

I booked with the free dining pin that came out a few weeks ago and only purchased 1 day passes, so I think they won't change that. I do have the suspicion that they may only offer CS dining to value resorts based on the free dining pins that went out.

Exactly. I've said exactly this on some other threads. We were able to book a 5 day stay with a free $500 giftcard PIN in May 2009 at ANY resort. The new offer not only gives only a $300 for value, but has you purchase a 5 day pass. This is not good at all for AP holders. Granted the offer we had cost so little Disney probably realized this and changed the offer. The same is true for FD. When you book a Value with a 1 day it's a really good deal! (esp with more than 2 adults in a room)
