And some of the goodies inside...(this is Katelyns box, DD8, the boys have different, not-so-girly stuff)

some of the stuff in there...paper and colored pencils, a tinkerbell stamp-pad set, a snow-white slide puzzle, fruit leather, some juice boxes, raisins, sugar-free gum, trail mix, a glow-stick and some chocolate chip cookies....there are a couple more things in the box I didnt get a picture of but you all get the idea...hopefully the kids will like their box and I will get extra Mom points, LOL

Cool idea Cathy....those boxes will hit the spot!!!

So the TR link: Open the first page of your trip report
I find it easier to open another window & go to the DIS
Towards the top left side is "User CP"..click on it
Scroll down, left side until you find "edit signature"
Get to the area to make changes
Go back to your TR, highlight the the link in your address bar
Click copy
Go back to your other window & paste into your signature

Wa-La......after saving it, it should show up in your signature!!! Hope I didn't totally confuse you.....it made sense to me :rotfl:

Thanks for all your help, I think I figured it out! *hugs*

Love the boxes, I think they are a great idea and they will help to make the trip more fun for them. The long car drive can wear on all of us. For my sanity I have always taken advantage of the rest areas. We get out and walk around, now that has always worked well for us, especially when I smoked. No smoking in the van so the rest stops were it. Now that I don't smoke it is walk around and get rid of the kinks. Our first stop is the most important one for me, the first one past Stockton.

I know the kids will love the boxes and the fact that they are surprize makes them more fun.

Great idea about the boxes. We have an 11 hour flight  to DL to I am going to pack back packs full of suprises for my boys.

You must be so excited with only 20 days to go.

I am! I still cant believe were getting so close! AND im way excited because we did decide to upgrade to 6day park hoppers instead of going to Hollywood! I just cant see doing anything else, we tried that last time and were just disappointed....glad to spend that extra day with the mouse!

What a great idea! I'd totally do that for the kids but I think they'd much rather play road trip games or watch a movie. You know how teenagers are. lol Mine's already rolling her eyes at having to do two more scavenger hunts before we go. haha :sad2:

I think the HUGEST difference is that you have teenage girls and I have boys...they are much more willing ( I think anyway lol ) to humor me....and they really seem to enjoy the fact that we are going, I havent gotten one eye rolling experience yet, not even from my DD8 and she is sooooo famous for them! :rotfl:

That was my thought with my oh so "sophisticated" daughters than can quote every little kids show on tv.

I know what you mean. My son Loren is so much easier and so rolls with whatever idea I come up with, ah yes, boys are much easier.

If you ever want a child that will totally play along with any fun pre-Disney-trip fun and games I know a grown-up-child-at-heart who would gladly put herself up for adoption ;)

I'm not looking forward to my DD8 becoming DD13...lol doesnt sound fun to me at all, right now she looks up to me and loves hanging out, im sure at some point she will know more than me and never want to see me, so for now, I cherish the time we spend together! Who knows, I may get lucky and she stays her sweet self forever! yay! crossing my fingers!

AND If you ever need someone who will hustle around the park with you and get up at the butt-crack of dawn to be in line 1/2 an hour early I will also put myself up for adoption...happily....LOL :rotfl:

:lmao: We birds of a feather gotta stick together!!

:lmao: We birds of a feather gotta stick together!!

This is very true, and if I still lived in Napa I would so be all over that idea! We could go all the time! 6 hours is considered a hop, skip and a jump away when you move and your trip becomes a 12 hour car ride, ugh!

Hahaha.. Jazz you are so adopted.

My kid can recite Beauty and the Beast word for word. It actually kind of gets annoying. lol She's not too bad about my "dorky countdown board" or the scavenger hunts, or the fact that I watch every Disney movie we own and make her eat mickey shaped pizza and pancakes. She likes the scavneger hunts better when she's got someone there to do them with her. Hence the reason I've bought all three girls lanyards and they will have to do the scavenger hunt together to find them the night before we leave. I think I may have to change up my verbage though to make it a little harder. lol I've got candy for their hunt too and was thinking I may pick up a pin or two as well.

I think your little boxes are a great idea though.

I get more than my fair share of eye rolls but she's never really gotten to the "mom doesn't know anything" stage. All in all, she's a good kid.

I can't imagine living more than 6 hours away, lol. The only thing that stops me from making the trek all the time is the fact that I have school and then I work weekends!! It's a lot of work to get a weekend off, lemme tell you.

Sounds awesome!!

My whole family can't stand to watch Disney movies or listen to my soundtracks if I'm in the room because I know everything verbatim, pretty much. Makes me sad. Someday I'll have enough people to go with that I can do scavenger hunts and whatnot. So far, it aint happening.

Sooooo...

Yesterday was sory of an exciting day for us! Got our UPS box with everyones 6-day ParkHopper and Disneyl luggage tags, toon town early entry, magic morning and all the rest of the good stuff that comes with teh Disney Package, was really fun to see all of our faces when we opened it, wow everyone was excited...

AND...I found a way for my best friend to go to DL with us! The kids dont know yet, so we'll keep it a surprise for them, she lives about 6 hours south of us so we'll tell the kids were making a bathroom break and then she'll show up, should be a great time for all of us, and if I can recall, she has only been once when she was in High School, so definitely a treat for her!

OK later on I will post the pics of the stuff we got in the mail yesterday, really need to get some caffeine in me before I do anything else today! :surfweb:
