I am thrilled to have found another one of your awesome trip reports! On our next trip my sis-in-law and niece will be joining us for their very first trip and it worries me a bit. I don't always get along with sis-in-law.....but I couldn't say no when they asked to join us. I think it will be great for my DD to have her cousin with her.

Bill is incredible as a peacekeeper! Looking forward to the next segment.

THat place is a magnet for kids Also, didn't you say that Christian was diagnosed ADHD? Jimmy's therpist told us that Lego's are great for kids with ADHD, it really helps with their concentration. TFI!

The tire thing was really weird, but all 5 of us saw how low it looked. I don't know if there is a slant when you are coming up that hallway and Bill was just parked weird or what? Christian LOVES Lego's, they really do help him.

I'm so glad the tire was OK! I hope that wasn't a sign of things to come...

The CMs at the GF all seem amazing!

We loved it too. It is very hard to get Bill out of the pin store but I did it .

We fully intended to spend some time at DHS before the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but I needed some Nyquil induced sleep so we decided to not even try to leave the room until after 10:30am. Bill and I decided we would take a boat to the Beach Club area and try to get in at Beaches and Cream. We had never been there and Josh loves burgers so why not?

Abbey and Josh were confused when we got off the DHS bus and I told them to not go toward the park. We went to the boat dock. They started snapping pictures of BIRDS, LOL.

Then the boat came:

This is the first time Bill and I have taken the boats to the Beach Club area, it will not be the last.

Josh still cracks me up with the Palm Tree pictures:

We departed the boat and started looking for Beaches and Cream, taking pictures along the way:

We finally made it:

We ordered and the food was delicious. Christian couldn’t believe how big his burger was:

We paid the bill and waddled out of there. They went to smoke and then we headed for the boats. After another great boat ride, we headed to DHS.

We split up, Hannah, Bill, and I went in search of Carl, Russell, and Dug from Up while Josh, Abbey, and Christian went to ride RnRC and TOT.

We went to the Animation studios and decided to watch the show with Mushu. After the show we headed to the Up line. Strike a pose:

We got close to the front of the line and I heard the Photopass photographer tell the handler her camera was not working!! I was going to have her take pictures while I took video Oh well, it was our turn, I will let the pictures do the talking:

Where is Bill?

At this point the Photopass photographer showed up, I was so happy. Then Dug came up and hugged me and licked me out of the blue. I forgot to take video and kept taking pictures, but here are the photopass ones:

Hannah played some of the games then Abbey called. They didn’t take one picture, just rode rides. We took a bus to the Ticket and Transportation Center. We decided to take the ferry, something else Bill and I had never done. Can you believe we took more pictures?

We finally made it to Magic Kingdom, we were all excited for the party.

Next up…MVMCP, will it rain us out again?

We made it to our last night in Walt Disney World bruised and battered but we didn’t kill each other, thanks to Bill and Abbey. We were ready to enter Magic Kingdom for the last time, it makes me sad just thinking about it. It was the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season:

I told them it was time to head toward the hub, Josh asked why, Bill gave him a look and he said “let’s go”. It was dark:

After the show was over we headed to the Teacups, Abbey promised her Mom she would get a picture of the kids on the Teacups. Walking there:

Then I suggested Mickey’s Philharmagic, everyone agreed. The kids loved it and giggled so much. Hannah loved seeing Ariel so big and reaching out. She went on and on about it. We were leaving the theater and saw everyone pulling ponchos out. Oh NO rain again. Even Josh said he would wear a poncho:

We thought it would be a good time to go on It’s a Small World. Josh and Hannah liked it:

Christian not so much, he said it couldn’t stand it. I told him he better listen that night or he would be riding it over and over.

Someone told me to take a poncho for the stroller too I think it was DisMomAmy, THANK YOU!! We went towards the Haunted Mansion. Hannah and I stayed in the breezeway and the rest of the family went to HM. It was very hard for me to let Bill go off with them. I am so used to helping him. Hannah fell asleep for a bit. They came back after having a great time and they decided to go walking around with Hannah while Christian, Bill, and I went to get hot chocolate and cookies.

They met back up with us and Hannah got a drink:

I'm so glad that your last day went so smoothly! We always try to just sleep in, relax, and go with the flow at least one day when we're there. Those are great pictures from the boat and the ferry! And that is a GREAT picture of the castle with the Christmas lights. I always tear up when I see it.

What a great and busy day you guys had. I can't believe how empty Beaches and Cream was; that place is usually packed to the max.

I love the picture of Hannah on the Carousel, you can see the Disney joy on her face. This was an amazing gift you gave those children; a memory of a lifetime.

So glad a little rain didn't stop you from enjoy the party. It wouldn't be a vacation to WDW without a little rain. I noticed Josh had a black poncho; that would be the only way I could get my son to wear one.

Hey Tracy I finally got a chance to get caught up and I've been spending this rainy/snowy Saturday thoroughly enjoying your trip report.

Despite some tense moments, it looks like a very special trip. Seeing the smiles on Hannah's and Christian's faces must have made all of the arguments worth it.
