We are visiting with my SIL and her family and I was wondering which restaurant you thought would be the most suitable? It's got to be somewhere that will do a burger for the kids but also something nice for the adults.

the Grand Floridian Cafe has nice burgers and other food as well.

My sister had a burger and i had a really nicely prepared salmon filet.

And the deserts were really nice too. We took the sampler desert, a small serving of several different ones.

You can check the menus of the different restaurants within this website.
I'll get you the link in a second.

Here's the link - you can search the menus of the different onsite restaurants:

Here's the page on the Grand Floridian Cafe.

Thanks, I was thinking of the GFC as we have done it a couple of times and had good meals. We've not been to many resort restaurants and wondered if any of the others were any good.
We've been to
WL, The Poly, GF & AKL.

TIA

well our favorite restaurant in all of WDW is Citricos at the GF, but i don't believe it serves hamburgers.

if you use the search tool at the link below, you can search on type ('resort'), cuisine ('american or whatever you think will have a burger and other good food), time ('dinner'), etc:

I would try The Wave at the Contemporary or The Turf Club at SSR. I have read good reviews about The Turf Club.

We ate at the Turf Club at New Year Tone, it was delicious, our favourite meal of the trip, as the reservationist said to me its "Disneys Hidden Gem", here are some pics to tickle your tastebuds

Mmmm the turf club does look good!

I second the Grand Floridian Cafe or the Wave!

We also had a lovely meal at the Captains Grille at the Yacht Club, which is very similar to the Grand Floridan Cafe but nautical themed.

Kona Cafe could be another choice, but I have never eaten there?

Wow Jules that does look good!

It was sooo good Gem, the steak had a crab and mustard dressing, and Ian chewed the bones of the lamb :rotfl2: We had a great waiter and it was a very relaxing meal. It was lovely that we could walk "home" afterwards.

I am so eating there in september and then will get the boat to DTD, just will have to try and avoid the DVC centre!!.

I think those pictures have sold me on the Turf club.

Now all I have to do is decide what to eat.
