Lockers/Showers by Kidani Pool?

Just back from Kidani. LOVED It! However, I forgot to check to see if there are lockers and showers near the pool. We like to hang out by the pool on check out day and use the showers to freshen up before we leave.

Does anyone know if either Kidani or the main lodge have them?

I know the the Kidani pool has lockers but I don't remember seeing showers. I would assume that they have them.

There are showers in the fitness center which is right next to the pool.

I checked out the women's changing room at the fitness center at Kidani. It is quite small and if I remember correctly there is only one shower stall. There are lockers but they are outside the changing room. They are the type that take quarters. So if you want to lock up your stuff while you take a shower, you can't do so very easily.

There are 2 restroom for ladies (and men too) one behind the pool bar, which is the one you must have been to and another as you enter the pool area to your left, before you go down the stairs. This restroom has only one shower but it is quite large.

Off topic, but I would like to know why they did not put one at BLT?

I can only surmise that the designers went for quality over quantity at Kidani. It was by far the most expensive bathroom/shower area I have seen at Disney. My picture does not do the granite justice.

PP's are correct, the shower is at the upper end of the pool (lower bathroom does not have shower) and there is only ONE. I think this is very poor planning on their part.

We are like you and like to hang out by the pool before we leave. Luckily we made it when no one else was there, but when we were done, there were 3 others waiting.

So you probably want to leave a little more time because it might not be a quick in and out like it is at other resorts.

When I was there the first week of May (when Kidani opened), it was 93+ degrees for the 8 consecutive days we were there. We checked our luggage in at check out and went to Epcot for awhile, came back, and wanted to use the shower. It was just my luck that someone was in there using it when I needed it. Barely got in and out before the Magical Express bus left.

Unless my memory is really going, there is NOT a shower in the bathroom behind the pool par - just all toilet stalls. Only the one shower by the fitness center.

Do you have to have a room key to access the changing/shower room? And, if so, will the key still work after you've checked out? Just double checking because we are planning to check out and then spend the afternoon at the pool, and, like the OP, we were hoping to rinse off and freshen up before hopping on the bus for the airport.

Are there more than one shower in each at Jambo? If so, maybe we'll just head over there on check out day, especially since The Mara is right there as well.

And at Jambo you can use the facilities in the workout room too. They have two showers in the women's area plus a great steam room.
