HI
Looking for help from anyone who has organised or participated in a Secret Mickey gift exchange. Could you let me know how and when the gifts were given out and what is the usual amount to spend on a Secret Mickey gift for participants. Any information gratefully received. Thanks.:goodvibes

I think you are talking about the Fish Extenders.

Check your cruise meet thread to see if they are having one on your cruise.

You can also go to the FAQ section to read and get ideas for the Fish Extender. They are small gifts, little to no money (homemade) with Disney, beach or pirate themes.

This is not the Fish Extenders .... this is something else. In Secret Mickey a gift is given by one participant to another one (unknown ... like a Secret Santa) and I just wonder how the gifts are given out to keep it "secret"

I've never participated, but am booked on the Panama Canal cruise. We are going to have a Secret Mickey. I was told that the gift(s) should not total more than $25. We will have a coordinator that will match people up. We are sailing without children so I have been told we will be matched with another couple. I was also told that you could leave the gifts in the FE or have the room attendant put the gift in the room. You should have a tag/card that designates it as a gift from their Secret Mickey. I was also told that it should be a series of small gifts and not one big gift. So, there should be a coordinator for your group. Then there is a "reveal" near the end of the cruise so you find out who your Secret Mickey is. Hope this helps. As I say I havent cruised DCL before so this is just my understanding.

Thanks so much. That was more or less what I though would happen .... but I just wanted some input from those who have done it to see how it worked. Thanks again:goodvibes:goodvibes

this thread gave me a better understanding as well. Thanks and I look forward to participating in my first secret mickey
