Ok, we are going down to the world from May 7th -10th to celebrate my birthday,:cool1:

as of right now, we are booked in a Studio at BLT. BLT is our home resort, and this will be our first stay there. ;)

Since then, my sister and BIL have decided that they would like to join us. They live in NC, we live in NY, and do not get to spend much time with them, so we are very excited. However, we will be very cramped in a studio at BLT with four adults. Long story short, we are currently waitlisted at BLT for a 1 BR.

Now, this morning, my FH called MS, and we would be able to get a 1BR at BWV, which we really want to stay at anyways....should we go for it????? Decisions, decisions......

AND if we do book BWV is it worth it to go BW view? Or standard?? It is my 30th birthday and all......:lmao:
Thanks!

Go for BW.. view is really up to you... if you are spending a lot of time in the room yes, if not no... really depends on whether or not you have the extra pts to work with!

Get the one bedroom villa - anywhere. You will wind up hating your sister and BIL if you try to stay in a BLT studio with the four of you.

However, with four adults, even a one bedroom villa can seem cramped. If you can get a one bedroom at OKW that would at least give you a bunch of room. But a two bedroom would be even better.

Thanks Deb! :thumbsup2

We just don't have the points for the two BR. Are the one bedrooms doable though?? We don't plan to sepnd much time in there...;)

If you really wanted to stay at BLT you could also consider 2 studios if another studio is available and request that the rooms be close to eachother. Looking at the point charts it appears that 2 studios would be the same number of points as a 1 BDR in May for comparable views. This might also have the advantage of extra privacy and both couples being able to sleep in a bed rather than pullout if this was important. Otherwise I would think the 1 BDR at BWV would be great, especially as you could walk to Epcot and HS. Have a great trip!

Definitely get at least the 1 bedroom instead of the studio. Studios are small for all adults and it has been said that the BLT studios are even smaller than most others.
We have travelled in a 1 bedroom with our adult DS. It has worked fine for us. We had the bedroom and he had the pull out sofa in the LR. He said this was comfortable at BCV. We shared the BR with no problem.
However, whoever is sleeping in the LR on the pull out sofa has little or no privacy. Will that be an issue for you?

I would go for the one-bedroom at BWV. Your sister and BIL would have more privacy than if they were in the queen bed next to you in a studio. Your bedroom would have only the one king bed. If you can get the boardwalk view or the standard view, I would opt for either over the non-boardwalk preferred view. I love the boardwalk area villas. Location, location, location.

The OP's relatives would probably be in the double sleeper sofa next to her and her husband if she is a good DVC member. The member always get the best bed in the place. ;)

Of course Deb, we are sleeping in the bed!! They get the sleeper sofa. I do love them, but not as much!! HAHAHA:happytv:

I'd definitely go 1BR Boardwalk View at BWV over any studio.

I'd also waitlist for a 1BR at BLT since it'll give you an extra bathroom.

AKV Value or Standard 2BR's will be the same points or less than BLT or BWV premium 1BR. OKW 2BR is just slightly more. One of those is what I would try book to be the most comfortable.
