Parasailing - multiple kids

My DD (11) and DS (9) both want to parasail. My DW does not. With smaller kids like mine do I have to parasail with them? Will I have to pay for two excursions for myself?

Depends on total weight, but most likely you will have to sail with each of them...and pay twice

DS 13 and DD 9 both weight approx 75 lbs so I will have to ride with them and go twice
Since we have to pay for two adult fees does anyone know if Dh ( who will NOT parasail ) can board the boat and I'll take "his" ride?

I don't see why you can't do this, you have to pay for 2 adults and 2 kids right? so why can't you both get on the boat, you are paying for 2 spots and when it is time to go up you just say "oh hubby has changed his mind, I am going to go up again" I don't see anything wrong with that.

When my kids were 13 & 11 (I think), they were going to put one of them with another person. That didn't seem rigth to me, or that passenger. They did put my two together. Our origninal plans were my DS was heavy enough to go alone. My DD and I were going to go together. I was told he was the captain and could do what he wanted. I understood he was the captain, but it seemed liked they wanted everyone to go as a couple to finish up early. We got back to the dock a lot sooner than we should have. I don't think that company runs the parasailing anymore.

That might be a good idea. Minimum weight is 90 lbs. So I don't see why they wouldn't be able to go together.

Here are the official "rules" on parasailing at Castaway Cay:
Additional Information

* Minimum weight 90 lbs., maximum weight 375 lbs.
* At the captain's discretion, Guests may be required to fly tandem depending on weather conditions. For safety reasons, the Captain's decision is final.
* For Guests wishing to ride tandem, the combined weight cannot exceed 375 lbs.
* Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
* All Guests must have a paying ticket and no ride-along Guests are permitted.
* Children aged 13-18 years participating unaccompanied must be escorted to Marge's Barges by an adult 18 years or older.
* Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted.
* Guests must stay on the boat for the duration of the time while other participants fly.

I suggest what another poster said: pay for the other spouse to sail and just maybe they will change their mind and sail. If not, make sure they have a camera and get some good shots!

The first time my DH wanted to parasail at WDW, I didn't want to. I ended up changing my mind and going on the next boat out. On Castaway Cay, we each flew tandem with one of our daughters (8 and 10 at the time.) It was fabulous. If you want to see an awesome video, check you-tube. My DH took the camera up and posted it. Also, at the ports most places advertise parasailing for 3 at a time so that may be something to consider as well. I didn't go this route but I know others on our trips have and I'm sure information here will be available if you're interested in considering this option.
