Anyone find GREAT deals on flights for Dover or Barcelona?

I really want to take advantage of the great Dover 8 Night cruise rate for this summer, but being that it is coming up so soon, the flights are close to 1300 a person. Anyone able to find anything reasonable? Thanks!!

Forgot to mention... My home airport is Orlando, Florida.

I am flying from UK to Barcelona for the Barcelona to Dover cruise on 5 June 2010.

The cost is GBP £45 per person (Easyjet - a UK budget airline).


I post this to maybe provide flight options if you fly via UK?

I'm using a British Airways/American Airlines combination to BCN. It was $474 from my home airport to BCN. Got it thru my TA, who was actually cheaper than the best deal I'd found on line!

My home airport is Louisville, KY. I just did an Orbitz search and found under $900 round trip; don't know what one way would be.

That's how I got my flight...I found it on Orbitz, but didn't want to book thru them. Couldn't find it on British Airways or American, but sent the info to my TA. She was able to book it for me CHEAPER than Orbitz!

great price! that's about what we paid last year for our round trip tix to BCN. watching the rates daily for our return trip in May!

I paid $2400 CAD about $2200 UD for 1 adult and 2 kids direct flights. Toronto to London and Barcelona to Toronto for the return.

Checked Orbitz all the time and then when the rate went down booked on AirCanada.com

I love using Comcast . net travel section. I have found some of the best deals using that search engine for finding flights.
I would recommend not looking on any days from friday - Sunday, as the prices often are quite a bit more. I have been pricing out quite a few flights lately for some clients, and am finding that Wednesday is a good day for low priced flights!

I've been pricing airfares and the cheapest I've seen so far are Miami to Barcelona via Iberia ($632) and Charlotte (where I live) to Madrid via Delta for $612 or so? I am willing to drive to another airport to save some $$$. There are direct flights via US Air from Philadelphia and New York/Newark but the cheapest I've seen is $800ish.

Keep checking the flights!! Some of those flights are very empty, prices are bound to drop!

Good call on the comcast travel section. I like to use that as well in conjunction with orbitz! If you are patient you can generally find a really good deal but it can take time. Just make sure that you find something you are happy with!
